Thanks for the insights on our beloved community. Secret's definitely out and we're partially to blame. As far as insurance goes, we lucked out buying a well built, post 2005 home with upgraded structural features. Our insurance increase was modest compared to what I've been hearing. Regarding Wellen Park, even with the River Road expansion and local WP shopping, 41's going to be horrible. Heat? Sweating's good for you. My wife hates it but works around it. The people, beaches and outdoor activities are great. New sub. Please find better music 😜

the families moving into Wellen Park won't affect the age demographic of Venice because it's actually in North Port. But yes, we are starting to see many more younger people! Do you rent IN Wellen Park? Will the high school be finished by the time your kids get to that grade? They are working on it pretty quickly! and your dad is right....must try Mama Leone's , it's very good! and half price drinks during happy hour

It would actually be great to see you guys do a lifestyle series where you take us along Venice as you do day-to-day activities so we can get the experience (shopping, beaching, driving, etc) Quick note: I stayed at The Sunseeker for one night when my flight came in late, and it was absolutely beautiful!! One of the nicest, cleanest and most fun-themes hotels I’ve been to. I hear they’re not doing well, and I think it’s such a shame. I wish more people knew about it. I want them to succeed. Thank you again!

I would love to update you on the Neal Signature Floor plans! We have all 3 car garage homes ranging from 2500 sqft-4200 sqft. The great thing with us is you can build a pool along with the building of the home. Our grand opening is June 15th but we are currently showing our models!

Per Skye Ranch Sales Rep. The Esplanade Ibis villas do not include Impact windows as standard but only as an extra cost option. Also impact windows can't be installed in only one unit in the duplex. Often if a buyer opts for impact windows in a TM villa the adjacent unit will be sold as a spec home with impact windows.

No HOA by dramatic locals, Master Planned professional HOAs are alright.

Nice community but the CDD is double that of area comps and Taylor Morrison's Azario. Over a 30 year bond it amounts to 50k plus iin additional expenses depending on the floorplan.. Also the recent news of 3h Ranch which will add 6500 hundred homes adjacent Skye Ranch heading west towards will I75. How will that impact traffic on Clark road?

I love Venice. I'm not a big beach/sea person but this place feels so clean and beautiful. I was born in NY, lived in NJ for 52 years before moving to Massachusetts and finally Venice. A month ago I had to travel to the east coast and you can feel the serenity traveling west.

How much is the golf membership? I heard 5,000 membership fee but what is the yearly golf fee? Btw like ur videos!!!

Always amazed how unnecessarily long it takes to build a home. We build 4 story, 55 unit apartment buildings in less than a year 😂

venice is now ruined

A year later I’m just watching this, thank you. Do you still believe that Sarasota is the same one year later ?

Across from the resort pool is the dog park not a fire pit. Also the tiki bar is not in use at this time because it has no liquor license and management won’t supply the tiki hut with a bartender. We can’t even use the refrigerator!!

The prices for antigua lennar vs lakespur dont seem to differ TOO MUCH.. both for the home prices and the HOA's.. I know antigua doesnt have any amenities while lakespur does.. For those that live in antigua is there any community pool or clubhouse they would have access to? outside of antigua? if not, then I am not sure I see a benefit of antigua other than a small savings. I would choose lakespur 1000% :D

what a insightful video! prior to this I was only looking at tampa area as a possible relocation destination.. but now I may have to consider venice! sadly my trip next month only covers tampa house hunting .I might have to make another trip and look into venice down the road!
