Reviews of Roland's Go Piano (with Alexa). Although Alexa is not used in this video the Bluetooth feature does allow you to amplify a laptop using the piano's speakers. You can also trigger a programme in your laptop e.g. Organteq but there is a delay in the signal which makes it impractical to use. You should also note that there is no usb connector.

A little tweaking and this guitar can have a very “Velvet Underground and Nico” vibe.
Yep, certainly could be worse. Not too bad with a little gain there.
Looks like a nice little practice amp for someone with limited space.
Thanks John. Always great to hear you try out new gear. By the way, how is Isobel?
Hi Ken, her mobility is not improving, one step every 3 seconds is her top speed. She was left handed and the stroke affected that side but she can now write legibly with her right hand. All in all she is bearing up well.
@@JohnCouplandguitarplease give her my Christian love.

For those nice clean tones I actually enjoyed the flats and they were giving (you were getting) a very nice tone ☺️. The rounds are brighter and louder, but I guess Id say that I thought the jangle of the rounds got in the way of the tone a bit.
Nice review!
Glad you enjoyed it Bill.
Thanks Sir. Great video. Your narration feels warm.
My pleasure
Nice wee tune John….loving the ‘expensive’ chords ( as Phil Cunningham would say)..😊 hope all is well with you.
Thanks for listening David.
youre a very humerous man John..God blessed you with a special gift..to bring joy to others
Thank you kindly
great review
Excelent review . Thankyou .. very helpful ...
My pleasure
Lovely playing John!!
I didn't really have much to say, but I'm told comments help the algorithm so I thought I'd say something. I'm enjoying your videos and a detail I hadn't noticed occured to me. When you're showing the tab or notes you're showing the whole (or large parts of) the sheet. Most CZcamsrs whov very little at once forcing you to skip back and forwards in the video. It's and extra hassle I don't really need and a detail I appreciate. Thank you for the videos.
Happy to be of service Stian.
Thanks for taking the effort to do this great and unbiased review’s.. This Takamine looks lige a great “take everywhere” gig guitar 😊 PS enjoyed your song and skillful playing🫶
Glad it was helpful Brian.
Very cool. Saw this in the Lekato amp review and had to find out what it was. I'd never heard of these before. Great tones!
Glad you liked it Robert
Ah, so those little jacks on the side provide power for pedals. I didn't catch that the first time. Very cool. Nice review - thanks! Looks to be about $60 USD. I wish I'd known about this a few months ago before I bought a Katana Mini for my office!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the review John. And I really enjoyed your playing at the end. Sounds great :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed that John not a bad piece of kit
Thanks Daniel, cheers.
Congratulation with new great stuff, sir 👍😀
Thank you kindly
Never would have considered this…. Until this video. Be easier than using my Vox. Seems fun and very affordable . Cheers John
Happy to help!
Thank you John for blessing us with your music
My pleasure
Thanks for the great video. I wish I saw this before. I’ve been trying to record myself playing and I keep picking up the very heavy key sounds (I am a beginner). Do you have any tips for reducing this either by how I play or how to record more effectively? Thanks 😊
The best way to record is to plug a lead into the headphone socket of the keyboard and the other end to the input of your recording device. That way no physical sounds will be picked up. If you can only use a microphone to record then put the Casio up to full or nearly full volume. That way the noise of the key mechanism will be a smaller percentage of the total.
@@JohnCouplandguitar Thanks so much for your reply. I will give this a try. 😊
Sounds amazing, well played!
Cheers!
Great review im getting one
Good choice.
Thanks John! Always a great pleasure listening to you play with such sensitivity.
Thanks for listening Tom.

Nice playing John. Thanks for sharing and for the tab and notation. By the way, what type of strings do you use?
Augustine Reds are my favourites.
Amazing playing, amazing sound.
Thanks for listening Eugene.

Good day Sir John. Nice Demo. I just purchased this Les Paul Studio in Ebony black. I put new strings on it and oh my word sounds Gibson ish espeacially in the neck position all clean with reverb delay and chourus also phaser and wah i have the Boss ME80 and this is the sound ive been looking for. This makes 4 epiphones 4 real life Gibsuns not the Chibson versions. And a 1956 Epiphone God top reissue now 5 Epis and 4 Gibbys. All Les Pauls and 2 Les Paul Speacials one orange sunburst and a flat wood red real Gibsun P90 pick ups on that version. The Last is my 56 Gold Top also i put exspencesive P90s in that 1 too and All guitars sound amazing with different characters sounds and tone none of them sound the same is why i have do many.
Sounds great Dana although it does sound like you are suffering from GAS, (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome.) I have to warn you now, there is no cure!

Great video. Your playing of open chords sounds beautiful. Reminds me of the 70's soft rock band "Bread"
One of my favourite bands.
You are soooper cool 🙂
Thanks for listening Roshan.
I have a FA500DCE Freshman and love it. It is my 'go to' guitar of choice and beats the two Larrivees I have that cost over 3 times as much: D-05 and an LV-03R. I've had the Freshman for about 12 years now and anyone who plays it remarks on just how good it sounds and it's playability. It's the one guitar that I would never sell.
Great original tune John! Guitar sounds nice. Ordering one today because of this review. Thank you.
Thanks Jose, you will enjoy it.
Beautiful instrumental
Many thanks Daniel.
Great lesson. Thanks. 🙏🏼
Glad it helped.
Good to see that you are in front of keys again!
Sounds very good. Too bad you find keys hard. That's my major concern as I prefer lighter action. I've heard that Korgs are the best in light key action department, but Liano series are lacking in the range of available sounds. So far I'm sticking to Yamahas and Casios.
Have two Korgs and five Casios. Would have to agree with you about touch.
I had an earlier one and sent it back never liked it not up to rolandt
I bought this second hand, I find the keys very heavy and with no usb I may not be keeping it.
Hey John, these sounds brought back a few memories. I’m sure they’re the same as the Roland PMA 5 I had in the 90s. Still some great sounds. Cheers man take care 👍
Thanks for listening Bob
is this a digital piano or an electric keyboard? (in fact, i'm not even entirely sure of the difference!) but some adverts call it a 'digital piano' and others call this an 'electric keyboard'.
Digital Piano is the correct term. 'Electric Keyboards,' usually have drums and auto accompaniment.
Hi can anyone tell me Is it worth to a used one or casio wk110? Nice video btw!
I always enjoy your reviews John. That’s a very nice looking and sounding guitar. I’m not familiar with the manufacturer though. I like a capo on the second fret too. I suppose fretting becomes a little easier that way. Just curious, what tension nylon strings do you prefer?
Medium tension sets such as Augustine Reds seem to work best although my Ovation Celebrity likes high tension.
Nice video ! I just bought this sigma today! So lovely and comfortable to play!!! I true love it!!!
Glad you enjoy it!
