    Congratulations on the channel. I really enjoy your keyboards reviews. Yamaha NP-series (Piaggero) and P-series (weighted digital piano) have the most natural sounding pipe organ.

      Agreed but if you can lay hands on an old Technics KN series keyboard you will be impressed by their organ sounds.

    John, great video! Watching this and your NP-12 video, it’s hard to determine…are the church organs different on this new model from the older one, or is it maybe just the recording? The NP-12 first organ seemed to have a lovely chamber organ sound. This NP-15 seems a fuller sound. Am I crazy?

      The organs are slightly different with more reverb on the 15's soft pipe and more chorus on its, 'Tutti,' organ.

    Electric piano #1 reminds me of popular love songs from the 1980s.

      A bit Doorsy?

      @@JohnCouplandguitarI think he means fm El.piano - Yamaha DX7 signature Rhodes sim with a more bell like tone - movies and pop songs from 1984-1994 heavily use these sounds

    we would love to hear you on a “real” church or cathedral organ (if it hasn’t already been done)

      The church I worked in before I retired had a real pipe organ, you could almost blow the roof off with it.

      Yes it is a splendid instrument.

      What is your opinion in the "only" 3 Sound variations via. Touch? Is it enough or could it be better?❤ @@JohnCouplandguitar

      @@barthomen3919 One of the selling points of this series is that they are simple to use, if you start adding more sounds or features then the older customer may look elsewhere. The Roland Go 61 note piano has a better selection of voices with flute, accordion, choir and bass added in but its touch sensetivity is worse than useless.

    is this a digital piano or an electric keyboard? (in fact, i'm not even entirely sure of the difference!) but some adverts call it a 'digital piano' and others call this an 'electric keyboard'.

    • @JohnCouplandguitar
      @JohnCouplandguitar  Před měsícem

      Digital Piano is the correct term. 'Electric Keyboards,' usually have drums and auto accompaniment.
