SO many people in these comments obviously don’t know anything about her, it’s apparent the majority of other ignorant responses here didn’t bother to do even the most basic research on her either, OR you do know basic facts and are choosing to ignore her history which is downright weird. Even after listening to her talk, you’re STILL going to make these gross comments? Y’all just love to hate on people that are happy with where they are at in life. You don’t have to like her music, nor her aesthetic. But it’s beyond gross to tear this girl down & not give her props after everything she’s been through. A lot of you are REALLY struggling with some deep-seated internalized misogyny. She was forced to act like a prepubescent child, wearing bows & rainbows that most people don’t wear past 3 years old, up until essentially NOW, to sell crazy amounts of merch & make her family endless amounts of $$$. She did NOT get to live out an actual childhood, though, she was literally WORKING through the ENTIRE thing. She may technically be 20 years old, but if you can’t understand that developmentally she is absolutely still working through her adolescence, you’re being willfully ignorant, and, honestly, super gross. Y’all have no idea what that must have been like for her, and how weird & confusing it would have been ANYWAY, but to be forced to pretend to like wearing dresses and super girly things and have crushes on boys, when we know that is the opposite of how she was feeling must have been SO insanely isolating, and having everyone in her family tell her to pretend & suppress everything that was the real her, just to keep making them money!?🤢🤮 Do better, y’all. Picking on her is seriously low-hanging fruit. It’s gross. You ARE essentially bullying a teenager that is trying to work through her trauma and is trying to learn how to grow up in a bizarre situation, in a bizarre industry, that people from normal, stable backgrounds have a difficult time navigating. You find her “annoying”? Are YOU a child? Don’t listen to her. Let her grow up. She literally doesn’t know who she is, she’s trying to figure it out, and we’re all blessed that we didn’t have to do that on a giant public stage, in front of everyone. She absolutely IS sincere, she’s also sheltered & naive in a lot of ways BECAUSE of her upbringing, which isn’t her fault, & that’s why I think sometimes people think she’s “trying too hard”, but, really, a lot of y’all are just so jaded and, unfortunately, just plain unkind, so you’re just assuming the worst about her. Let her be & grow into herself. I promise you, if you’d had her chaotic upbringing, you wouldn’t have ended up as balanced as she turned out. She’s “pop star” personality is eccentric, but as herself, she’s kind & genuine, sweet, empathetic, smart, really cares about others, does a lot of charity, brings a lot of happiness to a lot of people, and there’s nothing bad or wrong or problematic with any of that, so, she’s FAR ahead of the vast majority of former child stars. It’s beyond weird to be hating on this girl for trying to figure out herself, who she really is & what she really wants & wants to do with her life & art, after being controlled for her entire life. Some of you are just miserable people. Do better.

The girl that said she will make her kid eat whatever she wants them to eat, come talk again when you have a kid. I said a lot of things I was “going to do” with my kid before having my son. He has sensory issues, his pallet is small of what he eats, and we respect that. What you say you’ll do, and what you’ll actually do once you become a parent are very different.

My biggest problem with what West did was he knew Ciara didn't take sex lightly and it was meaningful to her. She wanted a relationship. There are plenty of women that don't feel that way and have uncommitted/casual sex. She made that very clear and that she had trust issues too. He brought her home to meet his family and from what she said after filming was spending every day with her. Given what she told him, I feel he led her on. Although he's for sure a likeable guy, what he did sucked and he broke her heart. It was selfish on his part. I'm so glad Paige is such a loyal friend and was there for her. I hope he learns from this and dates girls who aren't looking for relationships and commitment but, I don't think he will. He was after the chase.

Surprise surprise surprise, Nick takes West's side. What West did to Ciara was horrible. She made it very clear that she does not sleep around. West is a cavalier selfish jerk. Boot him off Summer House! Men who sleep around and use women, kind of like what Nick did before marrying a very young girl, are monsters and need to be held accountable so that they can learn to stop using women. If West did that to my daughter, I'd be outraged. We need to stand up to misogynists. FYI, for all the moron males out there, when you sleep with someone, their energetic chords stay with you for up to 12 years. It is not about being judgmental, it is literally not in your best interest to stay intertwined with someone's energy for so long unless you are married. It especially causes women phycological problems, since they tend to feel more attached to men they sleep with. People who sleep with a lot of people, tend to be mentally unstable. Fact!

I used to really like this podcast but I feel like Nick is missing the boat. First, with his opinions about Jo and now with Ciara. Women have enough people trying to manipulate them into being in a relationship without being in a relationship, and those men don’t need your platform to make excuses. When he defends people like this it makes it really hard to like him. Also, just because you are married doesn’t make you a relationship expert and I don’t know why anyone takes his advice anymore.

I don’t think this interview was as bad as I thought it was going to be. I understand more where west is coming from I just shouldnt think we should make relationships hard in a sense where individuals ALWAYS have to be responsible for themselves in terms of getting fucked over. Lets have more compassion and to the cohosts point, if someones like im a liar..then that shouldnt be used as a cop out for someone who was on the recieving of a lie to be like well I knew they were a liar I fucked myself over..it still hurts. have compassion to realize people lead with their hearts, and even if you tell them your flaws people will still try to love you and your flaws and make it work which is what ciara did. A little more ownership from west would have been nice but also when nick is cosigning that west is emotionally immature, and west agrees, it makes it hard for west to find anymore room for error bc the podcast host is giving him a default excuse as to why he did what he did to ciara. Genuin quetion - What would we see in a spin-off about Lala, though? We don't get anything from her other than her views, thoughts, and feelings of other people's situations? For the last few years, she has cried about her time with randal and trying to be softer but continues to act the same and doesn't tell us about what happened with Randal. Nick you can't compare your podcast to an actual business. Natalie talks on a podcast with you. Kyle is treating Amanda as a valued employee, as he should, because she is the creative director. Kyle has said many times that Amanda is lazy. Maybe Natalie is driven and y'all don't have the same working issues that he has with Amanda. Its just don't the same situation.

Even at the reunion though, when he was being asked about Ciara and why he ended things, what is he supposed to say, “I just wasn’t really into her”? I don’t think he ever really committed to being in an actual relationship with her. I mean I feel like it’s one of those things that Ciara had to kind of read between the lines. Wes was upfront with what he was looking for, Ciara was upfront with what she was looking for. It didnt align. Ciara chose to continue persuing him. He presude her as well but with the knowledge that he's a flirty person and thats how he is. I think she just liked him a lot and couldn't handle where he's at. Never did he ever say he was looking for anything different. She ignored all the red flags.
