I just painted my car with 2pak. I can sand or cut it until its flat , but it refuses to polish up. Im using polishing compound but it wont mirror finish. Stays dull. 🤔

I was told that you needed p600 scratches to really get a good bond with new clear. Is there any advantage to go coarser than p1000?

This is a very bad gun..need a lot of effort to achieve a good finish .only a very good painter can achieve a good finish with this gun with lots of effort

Decals? Should be painted on. But i understand. Time is money.

I just bought new vinyl to replace my mustangs cracked racing stripes BUT the new ones don’t have as much of a shine that I would like them to have so I decided to try a high gloss top coat. How do you add reducer ? I'm new to this ppg stuff I was told reduce 25% of the total paint mixture you make. So if the paint comes out to 1 ounces which is like 12 grams total what would I reduce it too

Is it too late? The Vinyl stickers are already faded. By the sun Is it too late that I can’t spray this on or what can I do to fix it without replacing the whole sticker?

Which clear do you like better? Mipa or Quartz. If Mipa which air dry one and also a Sata 5500 RP with a 1.2 tip for clear only.

Hi i have been flowing your work and wow i really love it. I and really needing some of your advice. I am restoring a 1972 Alfa GT and i would like to do things right. The car does have 2k piant on ( white) and i would like to do white again. I know i do need to start by sanding prime and then piant am i correct . What primer must i get .and do i wait a day or two for the primer to dry and then piant. I am from South Africa love your work. Regards Jaco.

Hi mate could you by any chance tell me if I can use monofil fine stopper over cured 2k acrylic filler primer it's the novel 355 00 or do I have to use that dolphin glaze. It's just for a few pinholes. Everyone seems to say you can't use filler over primer but I see you doing it so it must be ok. Help appreciated thanks

Great great video and lesson. I have a rear spoiler that sits on the boot, i cannot remove the spoiler and have to paint in place. There is a slight gap where the joint is, will i face issues or peeling back if i spray the boot and spoiler?
