    We sit back and enjoy the videos without appreciating how much work you have to put in to make them. Your health is important and put that first. We can wait (with a lot of anticipation) for the next post.

    Glad that finally u got a prep work videos into this series. Although its a lot of effort and time to film it but really appreciate it Tony. The foundation of a good paint job starts from the prep work.

    Hey Tony, the MR2 is progressing well and have to say that the kapci primer looks like it goes on quite flat mate which is a bonus. I know which gun you was using for primer as I have one as well but the Sata looked like it was doing a good job on laying a good wet coat on the panel 👍
    I don't understand why people complain about primers (or any paint tbh) saying they are to thick I would be happy if I had to spoon it out of the tin as you are getting better value for your money, just add more thinners then it will be fine and go further 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
    Thanks for getting this video up last night Tony as I now you had a bad week then had issues getting the video up on time 👏🙏👍

I have a 92 mx5 Eunos.. its pretty rust free, imported in 2005 from Japan.i have owned this car for nearly 7 years, and have been slowly modifying it mechanically suspension engine gearbox diff etc. .its had some paint in the past, and has suffered some shrinkage especially on the doors. Previous owner... I would love to book it in with you this winter please 🙏 😊 How would I best do this

    Hi Tony brilliant video.... when you’ve blocked primer 240, then da 400, ( would that be with interface pad ) when you go wet on wet is that with epoxy like 4:1 with 15% thinner ... thanks again Tony

    • @TonysRefinishingTV
      @TonysRefinishingTV  Před 2 lety

      so
      interface pad on the da yes

    • @TonysRefinishingTV
      @TonysRefinishingTV  Před 2 lety

      Yeah mate just with alot of the jobs we do being bigger I tend to go for p80 just for speed tbh

    • @jeffreyeaton9934
      @jeffreyeaton9934 Před 2 lety

      @@TonysRefinishingTV I was thinking faster by not having to remove deep scratches from 80 easier to remove 120 but still flat. If it's a skim coat yes 80 would be faster but few small dents 120

    • @TonysRefinishingTV
      @TonysRefinishingTV  Před 2 lety

      Yeah I’d agree there mate 100% tbh it’s just one of those grades we’ve never really kept in but I might grab some in tbh and see how it goes
