Note: This is the second time posting this video. I removed the first one because it was flagged for music copyright even though the music came from CZcams'S OWN LIBRARY!!!! So frustrating. So if this is the second time you've seen it and you left a comment on the first one, please repost your comment here? Thanks!! After making this bowl 100 times, I have perfected it. So here it is for you to...
Drive to Dorado Beach, Puerta Plata DR
zhlédnutí 716Před 2 lety
I haven't done a drive for a while. This is the road to a beautiful beach in the resort complex of Dorado in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. I was sitting on the back of a golf cart, filming leaving the beach and then just reversed the footage to make it appear we are driving TO the beach. There is a huge give-away part way through. I hope you enjoy. And just look at the size of those split-l...
#29 BEAUTIFUL SUNCATCHER
zhlédnutí 17KPřed 2 lety
This suncatcher turned out so much more beautiful than I had imagined. It really sparkles in the sunshine. Easy to make, it is a project you can really adapt to your own style and imagination with ease. It is a substantial piece with almost 3 cups of resin used.
# 28 Grabie Butterfly Stickers on Coasters
zhlédnutí 1,6KPřed 2 lety
Today I have another great item from GRABIE and use them on some coasters I made that didn’t turn out as I had hoped. The Butterfly Stickers turned them from rejects to beautiful!! I just love these stickers - there is such a huge variety of different butterflies and the colours are gorgeous. Here is the product sku and link to the butterfly stickers: BSN22010241100 bit.ly/34DwRGp And here is a...

#26 WOW!!!!!!!!! Colorful Caribbean Trivet
zhlédnutí 1,3KPřed 2 lety
Going outside my comfort zone with colours here - and trying a new idea I saw on @CathiiLaPierreArt - this video is a bit longer than the usual but oh so worth it. The results are a surprise and beautiful! I hope you enjoy. Rather than list all the products used here, I mention them as I go. I used the fabulous GRABIE Liquid Mirror Chrome Marker Pen to edge the trivet and you can get yours for ...
#25 Pouring & Shaping a Resin Flower Bowl
zhlédnutí 2,3KPřed 2 lety
NOTE: I make a mistake in my narration that is vital. I did NOT use New Classic Resin to make these - I used Art Resin as it takes much longer to cure and so the next day I was able to shape the bowl. Also, I forgot to include a photo of the BLESSED piece. I will include a shot of it in my. next video... SO SORRY!!! This is an experiment using gold and silver floating pigments along with gold a...
#24 Testing GRABIE CHROME MARKERS - WOW!!!!!!
zhlédnutí 6KPřed 2 lety
Today I am doing something brand new for me. GRABIE contacted me and asked if I would be interested in demonstrating one of their products. I went to their website and was amazed at the selection of art supplies they had and blown away by the pricing. I immediately pounced on these Chrome Markers as I use them every day in my studio and go through them like matchsticks!! This is my first produc...

#21 Making Waves

It took a long time (over a year) and a LOT of trial and error for me to be able to produce lacy waves every single time. In this video I share the ONE tip that makes this happen. NO ONE - not a single one of dozens of videos I watched to try to crack the secret - shared this tip. Well, here it is!!!! #20 Inlaid Resin Olive Wood
zhlédnutí 1,3KPřed 2 lety
This is a very simple pour into the naturally occurring holes in olive wood, but the effect is stunning. And yes, I did a bad thing by not wearing gloves - DO NOT BE LIKE ME - I knew it would be a quick and clean pour and I have large hands and, due to a shortage, could only find medium size and they hurt!!! So, yes, I was naughty. No need to scold me in the comments!!

This is soooooo awesome! Thank you so much!
Wow this is so beautiful you did a fantastic job. Is this machine washable and is it safe to eat out of?
No and no.
Incrível, poderia colocar a legenda? Infelizmente não entendo inglês, mas é lindo seu trabalho. Parabéns.❤🎉
My Goodness! People are certainly what my grandmother called fussbudgets. They want you to do this, not do that. It would never occur to me to tell someone who is trying to teach me something how to do it
Beautiful ❤
I love this!!! Excited to try in future. At first I didn't care for shells, but as the bowl took it's shape it looked just like a wave kicking up shells from sandy floor... Bravo!!
This is absoluely gorgeous. Poetry in resin. Thank you for sharing your progress.
Where can I find the round mold
I don't remember where I got it. Sorry.
Wonderful! I'm glad you mentioned experimenting with quilling papers because I think they would be perfect for smaller suncatchers. I'm not sure I have the patience to do a big one like yours even though it is so beautiful.
This is very pretty. Your friend is very lucky have had you surprise her with that beauty.
Omg You are an absolute delight to watch. Very clear instructions When you said about hitting the mute button if you didn't like your talking, I nearly burst out laughing, and btw I'm watching this in Northern Ireland at 2.15am I completely understand what you mean about the cost of postage these days. It's so expensive now that I've even stopped sending Christmas cards to all my family members in the US, Canada and Australia
I'm a year late! I love your creative process. Very good video! Your bowl is FABULOUS
That is absolutely stunning ❤
Beautiful! Can I ask where would you order the metal discs with your name on it.Great idea!
Amazon.
@@SandyBeachBumTM thank you!
Just discovered you and your art. Definitely making a few things now that you have planted the seeds, but you were bemoaning the fact of the leakage. Do you know that when Amish women create their stunning quilts, there is always a mistake? Even if you cant see it, its there. Reason: Only God creates perfection. Your art is beautiful and I for one would welcome those little " mess ups"!
It is beautiful just the way it is! I love the shape
Beautiful!!!!
Did you drill holes for the chain?
yes I did, and then I threaded the chain through and attached it back onto itself creating a loop through the hole.
The suncatcher was beautiful even before you removed it from the mold but hanging the finished piece in sunlight makes your suncatcher GLORIOUS! This project is the first of your videos I've watched, I enjoyed it very much and look forward to more!
Very pretty!!! I would love to receive that as a gift.
Beautiful suncatcher and a great idea! I hope you don't mind but I think I am going to try and see if I can do this myself! Sandy how did you attach a hanger?, and how big was your mold? Do you have a video showing how to attach a chain to this suncatcher? Love it. Thank you for sharing.
I do not have a video showing how to do it but all I did was drill two holes, thread the chain through each hole and then fasten the chain back on itself.
That's beautiful! I have just found your channel and you are so talented. Thank you for sharing!
Great tutorial! You look nice, I really like your hair color. what do you use for makeup remover?
Thank you!! I use the Elf make up remover balm and a special cloth for removing make up.
Is your skin sensitive, does it burn? If not i use The Ordinary Peeling Solution. It really works to even out my skin. I also use sun screen, it really helps my makeup stay on and last.
Beautiful
I’m sure you have had this comment from others, but I think all of your torching probably caused the mat to melt onto the resin. Fantastic idea and beautiful result, however!
Great work I love it and ur instructions are excellent loved it thx
Only inks
This is so very beautiful , you have exceedingly blessed your friend I am sure. And by the way, just my opinion, but I think you have lovely hands... mine,in comparison, are skinny and boney with very wrinkled skin on the knuckles. Even when I was little they looked the same 🤷 , just like my mom's hands. Loving hands are a wonderful thing and I believe we both can claim that. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful work art... this is a blessing 👏👍💖💯
To both you lovely people: The people that your hands make things for, dry tears, rub the shoulders of a crying friend, or wring as you relate to a kindred spirit that works think your hands are just perfect. Soft, perfect shapped and thankful for you having them! ❤❤
@@clairewyndham1971 💖. Thank you for wise and wonderful words 💖🤗
Can I use live leaf or flower petals with this project? Or woll the discolor?
you can if you dry them out first in silicone.
Very nice! ☺️
I love it!
I loved it without the shells
I love your splash resin bowl. I have tried to make them but I have not found the right material to pour on. I tried parchment paper, but it made my bowl cloudy and I wanted it to look clear. I was also wondering what you meant when you talked about petri dishes to make a base when the sculpture wasn't flat. Can I find them on Amazon or do I have to get them someplace special?
if you find a clear shower curtain or clear plastic table cover, I found them at the dollar store, they were perfect to pour this on. And the petri dishes are just little round silicone moulds that I got on Amazon.
Oh my goodness, I love this lady! She’s trying to teach us her techniques learned by trial and error. Keep your negative opinions to yourself.
Sorry people seem to think they can be bossy... Im just concentrating on the beautiful art you create... My most fav colors.... If it was so easy why arent they the bossy do gooders making the video.... Let the lady create... It's what she does keep the boss her around comments to Your self ...some people greater with 🎵🎵.. each to their own.. live and let create.... Shes the bomb... Of my style...
Beautiful!
Loved this thank you for taking the time to explain everything
I love all your bowls, so glad I found you and love how you teach, I am wondering what the measurements are of this plastic bowl you are using. I saw some on amazon but they have different sizes. Thanks so much. 🥰💚💛
11” x 8” x 5” tall
Pretty color palette
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Broken glass works too! I just used some In my sand !
Absolutely amazing, love this piece and the colour. Thanks for sharing your outstanding talent. ❤❤💯
Beautiful !!
Why don't you glue the toilet paper rolls together in the shape you want ?
That's a brilliant concept. Green and blues are my favorite colors. Thank you for sharing.
These bowls would look great displayed on a small light table.
Wowwww😍 This is amazing❤..... Could you please add the products in description that you use.
