Chinese Railways - Famous Tree Tunnel! 762mm Narrow Gauge Limestone Railway Near Nanjing 南京 JMY380

- The stunning 762mm gauge railway east of Nanjing is owned by the Anhui Conch Cement company bringing limestone from the quarry to the cement processing plant some twelve kilometers away. The diesel hydraulic locomotives are JMY380 class. For 3 - 4 kilometers of the line, a spectacular tunnel through overgrown vegetation makes for some simply incredible photos and videos.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. this is really a magical place. I visited the area twice in the past 12 months, however I ran out of time to visit this line. Then I heard it only operated at night time prior to my visit, however I got very lucky and found six trains. After these trains, the line filled with wedding photographers! I heard this line will close this year as well as the competing 900mm gauge line as developers move into the area. Very sad, it is very special. There is another railway tree tunnel on the standard gauge line near the airport which is more famous for people taking selfies. China takes such good care of their trains notice the windshield wiper missing on the cab at about 3:30 LMAO.
How to go there,please give me information about the transport,and i was go to the othet tunnel at the airport line but the gauge is 1400' not 790' and there no trains passing by....
