Dear Sadhguru, with all my love and respect to you, would like to make a comment here. J.K was understood by lots of people, including my self, he was deeply intelligent not intellectual! Intelligence comes from within, it is innate, while intellectuality is acquired by external gathering of learnings. J.Krishnamurti was an original seeker and a highly intelligent being only because he could be present continuously, without judgments in the now. His philosophy was mere observation of inner and outer movements till the point as to where the observed and the observer were one. When I studied him it was so clear to me, all that he said, a revelation and a shock! It gave my life a quite different turn in many ways. The reason why so many spiritual leaders today don’t even mention him is not because he was not understood but because they refuse to admit that the base of all their teachings comes from him. I think it is from complex of inferiority. His philosophy is like a stepping stone to everything else ever said. I can only compare his method to Socrates from ancient Greece. And he left a living legacy behind, with his schools and lively recorded teachings 🙏🙏🙏🙏namaskaram ♥️♥️🌈

While this is true for "yogis" of a specific kind, this doesn't hold well for everyone. How about Karma Siddhanta? It is the foundation of almost all metaphysical concepts especially in the spiritual mahadhara of sanatana Dharma. In bhakti yoga Krishna himself says, for those who can understand "god" in a formless way it is good, but, since it is almost not possible for everyone, Karma is the way - to know "namaha" "that which is not" . So, this is good for JK and likewise for RamanaMaharshi, may be also for Srirama krishna paramhans, but we must not follow that path. It is like because Adishankara swalloed molten iron orated Nirvana shatkam, you can do it too . No. No way. While "following"is good, it is also important to follow that which you can. So it is imp to know who it applies and appeals to. If you tell the above to a common man, it is very likely you will send him down ironically. It might do so less good. That's why Karma Siddhanta is practiced widely.
To repeat, and summarize, I am not saying jk is right or wrong, I'm saying we must choose to follow what he said carefully. Because he is a "dhara" and we? We are still the fishes trying find our way.

I am seeing many comments critical to Sadhguru here. I read and followed JK teachings extensively 25 years ago, and that altered my understanding about myself completely. Especially his book “Freedom from the known”, I still have in my library. Both JK and Sadhguru are enlightened, but the methods both have adopted to communicate are totally different. JK’s method, I have to say, is definitely liberating, as he cautions us what all we should not do. But he never divulged as to what to do and how to achieve it. Jk definitely brought me clarity, but the profound inner experience only came when I followed Sadhguru.

And that JUNGLE OF ILLUSIONS is what confused people called "knowledge", "ability". And when you write, ... We are young as far and as long as we feel ourselves as beginners not as mature in something. So we can grasp knowledge not because of youth but because our inner feeling that can be verbalized as "someone may know it better than me" until it evolves and transform itself into "nobody can teach me on this".
The beautiful part of this evolution is that it can be dismissed at any moment with no reward so you can learn something as a true beginner. But ability to dismiss own experience is not widely spread across people. So it came to us as one who can dismiss his own knowledge or memory in the meaning of being free in his choice independently from his memory and previous choices - as special being. Indeed it is special. But all of us had nothing special in making everyday choices with or without memory as far as we did that choices in unconscious way.

My perspective, it is about the fact that the greatest master is not defined by the number of pupils but by the number of masters he is "producing". So it is a question of perspective and the saying of sadhguru "he was a flower and while alive you could smell his fragrance but it is gone now" is a judging. Even those who are born enlightened like Sri Krishna himself took Rishi sandipani as his guru . Taking up a Guru often also means giving up on your ego . Who next?
      Some other exotic thinker?
I am here to transform myself..and helping others in the process..
To leave this planet a little more beautiful,, in the short span of life I have been granted..
I'm not interested in guru-shopping. Hopping from one thinker to another..it's not a matter of adventure sports 🤣
And anyways I don't have the time.
When the house is burning,, would you think about the colour of hair of the man who brings water?
Or give your life and heart to do something about it?
Please,, I am not condemning or offending you in any way.
Just see to it,, the various tricks of the ego.
It just finds ways to avoid that which REALLY needs to be done.
Whether by pleasure-seeking activities,, or by hopping from one guru/thinker/philosopher to another!! And in millions of other ways!!
But the intention is the same!!
To keep the self alive. To avoid the truth,, and keep on living in lies.
      Love 🙏❤️

The way I understand the dichotomy between Jiddu and Sadhguru is, one is trying to get people to think, while other is telling people, don’t think just follow what is codified. 90% of the population does not have the processing power to understand and comprehend JK, and that is what Sadhguru is targeting.

Sorry, but it has never felt to me that J. Krishnamurti was speaking from the intellect. His wisdom was coming from a much deeper and profound place. I have to say that his words were resonating with my very core unlike your teachings. No one's wisdom has ever resonated with me as profoundly as Krishnamurti's. He had zero arrogance and zero ego unlike many who present themselves as spiritual teachers and gurus, yourself included. Krishnamurti IMO was born at the wrong time, about 1000 years earlier the age when he could be understood. Our collective consciousness is not even remotely close to being able to grasp the truths he was revealing.

There are lot more people than I thought that understands JK's teaching. And you are right about JK's speechs not coming from intellect. Probably to self enquire, one does not require to be intellectual. I do not and and probably will never understand JK as a person since I never met him. But JK's teachings, did essentially set the sails for my journey and make me realize that only constant self enquiry can get you close to reality.

I listen to JK for the first time, and I saw Sadhguru Pap! this was and is your mentor to me this Topic is very heavy on you. I am in my 20s and JK was and is a Gem. We don't go to school to read answers. today's speakers come with all remedies and suggestions That why it's very hard for you to understand JK. He is easily understood by many.

This is what Khalil Gibran originally told about JK “ when he entered my room , I said myself - surely the lord of love has come “ . ‘ the love of wall has hit me ‘ is sadguru’s own making .. KG never said it .. JK never wanted to be a Guru , disliked anyone calling him that , JK was not a wannabe 😀
