    Meditation is the ending of all struggles and experiences .. Just keep quiet and observe your mind , the flow of thoughts which eventually come to stop and you experience the state of no thoughts which is peace . Instead of observing the thought flow , start observing the breathing process and flow of thoughts stop , since mind can do only one thing at a time . Mind freed of all thoughts is consciousness. Consciousness filled with thoughts and impressions and imagination is mind .
    Pure consciousness is peaceful and blissful which is free from all experiences .
    When there is no experiencing the experiencer also is not there .

      You cannot meditate 24/7. But you can be an enlightened 24/7. So meditation is for the non-enlightened and a buddha event may or may not happen; based on your luck. Meditation is a fragment which can be installed into your buddhi to live enlightened 24/7; rather than keep on sitting and meditating.

A good teacher will help you step into your light and not draw much attention to himself/herself.

    Truth can not be experienced, it can only be lived through the flowering of goodness.
    We all are hypocrites. We do puja, prayers and rituals but the heart is still polluted with selfcentredness, tendency to control others, establishing one's supremacy on others, following pleasures endlessly.
    Unless one get rid of all these dramas, one can not experience peace
    For this every minute, every breath of our life of our life should be filled with deep awareness and alertness.
    That is real meditation

      he's said in other videos that modern meditation is basically just systems that make you more mechanical... Sit in this posture 20 minutes 3 times a day, breath like this, focus on this image, say this mantra.... He says that true meditation is being completely attentive to everything going around you and inside you, every gesture, word, thought, sound, etc. Full awareness and attention with no judgment. Just seeing everything as it is. True meditation is not a practice, it is a way of being. Most meditation in modern history has been utilized as a profitable product to sell people.

    I love JK sir. Every word of his is so profound with deep meaning. We have given meditation exclusivity following a technique method, sitting in a special posture for specific time in a specific place. JK says meditation is a natural phenomenon which is to be attentive ie to watch yourself during the daily activities of our life in all postures. Why make it exclusive when it is all inclusive. Meditation is life similar to breathing.

    Krishnamurti also believed that the path of the soul is different for each one of us, so if meditation serve us, let it serve us. We don’t have to follow him just because he said it. This is the reason he left Theosophy. However, we must ensure our critical thinking is continuously engaged.

    Love this, the necessity of a system for a greater experience is itself a delusion. There is no escape from the system as the system creates more and more people who are dependent on it for their salvation. True wisdom lies with the one who does not struggle. (Do not confuse struggling with putting in effort)

      @Eddyspekboter Před rokem +4

      In order to get there, we must accept struggle and embrace it. That is the phase that I am in, if I might call it that way. No matter how you see it, the path to enlightenment is a path, and progress is part of it. Even though seeing it this way, pushes enlightenment further away.

    • @ProjectMoff
      @ProjectMoff Před rokem +3

      @@Eddyspekboter in accepting and embracing struggle then struggle is transcended and can no longer be labelled as struggle. The so called path to enlightenment is like an infinite road where you think your glasses are out there somewhere so you search and search to no avail, eventually you scratch your head and there they are, on your head, you didn't have to look for them at all. Or a more abstract way of looking at it is an eye, it is looking for itself, it is looking everywhere (there are no reflections in this metaphor due to the eye representing a formless self) eventually it realises it IS itself and there's no need to search for yourself when you are the very thing you search for.
      The reason for the search is to find an answer that will end the search, but there is no answer to end the search, so you simply end the search and are free in self acceptance. What does reality have to gain or lose? Where can it gain from or lose to? The idea of there being something wrong or something more is what drives your search, when reality accepts itself and sees all is in its right place then it is clear in the reality of what is and not in delusions of what should or could be. For reality to divide itself into right and wrong or any form of duality is the source of suffering, reality believing itself to have another is clearly an illusion (I would say delusion but that implies there is something wrong). Existence is one, there are no existences, all apparent others are subdivisions of reality, it's a play, an act.
      There is no enlightenment to be gained, enlightenment is to be doing and seeing as you truly should be, and we always are, as the state of dreaming is no less valid than the state of being awake. Is the correct state for a pond to be murky and muddy or clear? There is no correct state, there just is what is. All this knowledge is a game, it's lore, no more significant than the lore of Harry Potter.

    Yes, that's absolutely correct. I experienced enlightenment is a most dishonest thing to say 'cause once you enlightened (to say it loosely, actually it is called state of silence (பேசா அநுபுதி) before mukti), no such thing called 'I' exist. You're in the path to become one with the supreme consciousness, it is called Samadhi (becoming one). Meditation (dhyana) is just one part of Eight fold Yoga (Ashtanga yoga), to prepare the body and mind for ultimate Samadhi. As he says, when we leave all the entanglement and attachments (losing 'I' and 'mine'), mind is very clear becoming light to itself. No such thing called experience and experiencer. It become one with the ultimate consciousness! You cease to exist.

    After hearing his one line, i can understand that he just tried to denied all the previous way of meditation which was followed by people. But my explanation is that as we learn reading and writing to live in our present society, so first we learn gestures and posture after commond on them it became so natural like breathing and seeing and hearing.

    Beyond Grateful for all the people who keep and share his precious talks and conversations, to the one of the greatest humanbeing I know that had really existed (as I was looking someone like K all my life ) to make it available for all of us! He is embodied what integrity is, how love and compassion are expressing and how free he is in such a deeper level that you can’t help to do the work of finally looking at yourself honestly, to think for yourself understanding we are creating and be part of everything that’s wrong in us and this world: meaning by doing so, we can do something about it, have to change ourselves and hopefully to be free to truly live ..

    "one cannot experience enlightenment".
    That is profound.
    Need to reflect deeper to grasp this.

    K, an intellectual, questioning and debating everything, is not for a common man to follow! And meditation is becoming a generic term loosely used in modern world. Hindu traditions explain 8 different levels of it for one able to achieve a “mindless state”, an enlightened state of total bliss, joy and peace. With faith, devotion, determination, and practice, one is surely and always to be benefited by such discipline.

    Listening to Sri. J. Krishamurthy's talk, one will forget all frustrations.He will make you understand what is life and what is the meaning of living of each Human beings. Once you attend his speech, you will never forget and you will always feel like attending more and more. He is ultimate. If you listen to his speech you will forget all your sorrows. Such a great man he was. I am proud that I have worked in his institution for 43 full years. And I am more happy that I have attended his live talks in Rishi Valley whenever he comes to Risi Valley in the month of every December.This thought is enough to pull my life till the end of my life. I really believe that his blessings are. Whatever he talked, coming true in the world.
