CV: The Local: Simon Wright and Friends on Koh Tao, Thailand

Of the last 2.5 months, I spent almost a month of it on "my" island in Thailand. An island that I've been venturing to annually since 2003 ... this was my twenty year anniversary of adventures on Koh Tao. "Koh" meaning Island and "Tao" meaning Turtle.
I was traveling this round with Shaheed Qaasim and we heard a brilliant looper artist playing one night and that's how we met Simon Peter Wright.
Three days later we had a cast of 20, including five camera ops, two drones, a DP, a behind the scenes photographer, a plethora of dancers, a brilliant bass player (Mark A Haynes), the music scratch track recorded, and the venue secured (special thanks to Koh Tao Cabana - my home away from home when I venture to Koh Tao).
The actual shoot production time took 45 minutes.
Now three months later I'm back in my Oregon home and post-production is done.
This is by far one of my favorite pieces - in the 50+ hours of editing the video to this track it was hard not to groove to the track ... I'm grateful I edit at a standing desk so I could dance as I edit.
