I think she's more upset at the negative attention she's been getting for something that was mostly outside of her control. If the dog was energetic and playful, that means it's possible that the woman didn't even know this was going on until people online started blowing her up.
so. just to let you know. dogs that get rescued from abusive homes are labeled and a giant majority get ethunized. too costly to attempt to retrain adult animals. the risk factor of an abused animal attacking somebody. too many liabilities.
