Front Strut Replacement | CLK Build: Episode 7

In this episode, I will instruct you on how to remove and install the front strut assembly on a 2004 CLK500 (W209). This procedure works with most Mercedes featuring a McPherson type front suspension. i removed the strut to install lowering springs.

You shouldve looked for the clk55 amg before getting the 500 the the 55 is bigger and since its amg it already has brembo brake calipers

Great video. Question, after you took the strut out the wheel hub dropped down. How did you get the wheel hub back in the normal position to attach the bottom strut bolts?

Use a jack to raise back up the knuckle on to the strut
