Those who hate on tekken either suck at the game, never played it, or are still stuck on Tekken3 or one of the other past installments. I've been playing since Tekken 3 and I will always be a tekken fan. Best Fighting Game Ever.

I like the idea of a live-action Tekken movie directed by Quentin Tarantino. In styles similar to Kill-Bill, Iron Fist, and Death Proof. I seriously think he's the only one that can do a great realistic mixture of Fantasy and Martial Arts. With hints of random humor since Tekken can be pretty random and funny at times! ❤️

For example, In Kill Bill, while Uma Thurman doesn't exactly have the "Nina Williams" face, the way she pulls off the femme fatale attitude would so work for Nina impersonator lol

Been a fan of this game ever since my dad bought me tekken 2 as a kid. It's WAY more than just a fighting game, the story is something that's kept me captivated for about 15 years now.
I hope they do Tekken 7 and the Mishima saga justice. It's gone on for too long, but hopefully Harada doesn't over do the final game in terms of storyline. It still needs a good balance in terms of gameplay and story.
Officially HYPED for this game. Please don't let me down.

A husband who regretfully killed his beloved wife and shed a tear for losing her. A father who saw the result of his doings to his son after all these years and shed a tear. All that Heihachi ojisan wants is to stop the evil that plague his family. It is just so happened that he did it in a way that seems right for him, but too much to bear for everyone.

I like the parallels between the trailers of Tekken 7 and Tekken 8, in Tekken 7 trailer and final fight with Heihachi Kazuya was standing on the left side because he was the protagonist of Tekken 7 and he was also standing on the left side in the Bandai Namco intro of Tekken 7 whereas Jin was standing on the left side in the State Of Play Trailer, Bandai Namco logo intro and in the recent gameplay foreshadowing he is the main protagonist of Tekken 8. In the end of Tekken 7 trailer Kazuya ends up using his Devil powers and in the state of Play trailer of Tekken 8 Jin also ends up using his Devil powers.
Tekken never failed to hype intros, though I believe Tekken 5's intro was...sparking in all forms.
Tekken is always about the Mishima family, just look at this:

The story of Mishima family is the main story of tekken actually. The other characters with their special story are just fighters who joined the tournament for a reward or some other personal reasons.

Tekken tag tournament 2's online gameplay, named rankes , constant connection and Promotion/Demotion system is dope. I'm currently a Genbu and is now making an attempt to get to Tekken lord before T7 comes our and I have to tell you that after getting demoted in Tekken several times getting promoted to a new rank in tat game is the most satisfying thing to do in ANY game I have ever played. Placing decently in a local or
major tournament offline is an even better euphoria because Tekken rewards players who take the time to practice and get better at the game, and that is something you casual gamers won't understand until you play it.Take the Tekken Challenge.

Kazuya fufilled Kazumi's duty to kill Heihachi and save the world. Kazuya is an anti-hero.
It's pretty interesting all around. It's implied that had Heihachi not become paranoid after Kazumi went crazy with the Devil power, he and Kazuya probably would have had a better father/son relationship than what they had. Kazuya wouldn't have succumbed to the Devil like he did, or at the very least wouldn't have had the hatred for his father that goes beyond all of the Devil business. He was a good kid before being tossed down the mountain, and that's the tragedy of it all. Heihachi trying to stop him here ironically paints him in a more heroic light, as the twist is that now Kazuya is the real threat to the world, not Heihachi.

Everything wrong that happened to Kazuya was Heihachi's fault. I mean, seriously: Heihachi abused him as a child, killed (imprisoned) the grandpa Jinpachi and most likely he killed his mother Kazumi as well, who were the only mentors and moral compasses to Kazuya. Heihachi threw him to his doom off a cliff twice. And finally, just for bonus round, he decided to kill Kazuya's kid Jin.
I'd say the old far finally needs a brutal fucking beating! So, I'm definitely on the side of Kazuya!

spongebobfan78 That's why my favorite character is Kazuya. He is rather a complicated dude. In the first Tekken he was actually the main protagonist and in the second he became the antagonist. What makes him interesting though is his relationship with the devil gene.

+Ken Catus You mean with devil. In Tekken 1 and 2 there was only devil and actually the devil that is inside jin is half of devil`s spirit( Look up Tekken 3 intro there is no devil gene that is made up because jin didn`t inherit his devil when he was born).
Tyrik Flood-Feaster I always thought that the Devil was a separate entity that could inhabit a host who has a devil gene within him. When Kazuya was thrown into a volcano, the Devil started detaching itself from him in order to look for another host, which was Jin, but because Kazuya survived the fall once again, the Devil didn't leave Kazuya's body fully, thus only part of him went away to corrupt Jin.
You could argue that Jin was immune to Devil's influence because of Jun Kazama, her connection with the Angel, but once she was gone, the Devil had an open window to mark Jin with its presence.
