Forgot to mention last rector who said Su could do it on her own Yui took ill and left the band. Static Reaction is still geting the hashtag #blameroger a year later. 🤣
one of my favorite ballads from Babymetal, but also one of my favorite songs from the 2nd album in general.
I'll tell you why you were feeling like that - it was the magic that is the Metal Goddess-Queen Su-metal doing one of her solos and the Kami Band giving her the support to cast her spell on you. The audio was from the concert at Wembley Arena in 2016, the footage was from Wembley and Tokyo Dome and I'm not sure I caught where else.
Most people will say they prefer 'Akatsuki' when it comes to Su's solos, I think 'Amore' possibly lives in it's shadows but is equally great.
Agree with that snd the Wembley version was brilliant.

@@Kidwhofailsmost I'm one of those people who love both songs and bitterly regret that both of them seem to have disappeared from the live set list.
Amore is beauty song, but when it came to sync between singer and the band, i like to say that Akatsuki more good then Amore

Great reaction guys remember Su is the inspiration for Babymetal. When Koba seen her performing with the Karen girls . He thought her voice would sound great with metal Su was 10 years old at the time. This is not your first Su solo you reacted to Akatsuki a while back . Suggest you react to " Rondo of Nightmare with Mischief of the Gods intro" you love that . Hope you enjoy the show when you go .

FYI: Babymetal plays Aftershock Music Festival at Discovery Park in Sacramento on October 13th. They are third on the bill behind Tool and Korn. I live about two miles away and it is a great outdoor venue situated on the American River. BTW that other band from Japan kicked serious ass at the Echoplex last Monday night. I know. I was there.
as much as i love all of Babymetal.. you gotta give it to Su. she has the talent to carry the band on her own! fantastic voice!
Great reaction! I‘m always glad when you are reviewing BABYMETAL. You have reacted to a Su solo called „Akatsuki“ before. And to be honest, these two songs are probably the only two BM songs that I find somewhat comparable, and unfortunately for this song, „Akatsuki“ is even better. Su‘s solos are always impressive, her voice really shines in all of them.
There are two more solos that are a must-watch:
- „Rondo of Nightmare“ is a song with a hauntingly dark atmosphere about a person being trapped in a nightmare: czcams.com/video/QxYAcIyk2Co/video.html

Agreed, these two are a must-watch for sure. From the fantastic intro to the haunting atmosphere, Rondo is one of my favourites. And No Rain, No Rainbow gives me goosebumps every time I watch it.

And their surprise when they go to the concert and they dont play this song anymore. Also, far in the back there are 3 statues with mask on and a drummer banging hard and fast. (Kami west band lol)
@Lost in MPK - Guys not sure what has made you stop reacting to Baby Metal? Sure, they have changed since they debuted 10 years ago, but they are still as unique and awesome. Also, there's absolutely so many songs from their earlier albums which is still a joy to watch. Even in their new album, songs like BxMxC, Kagerou, Shine, Arkadia are lit.

If you want more Su solos I'd recommend Akatsuki live and Rondo of Nightmare with mischiefs of God intro.
I guess you quickly realized this is a live compilation (fanmade) - try to stay clear of those, some aren't bad, but some are outright terrible. Always go for a live version ! Cheers !

I have a question. Do you think Babymetal will still be around in ten years or more. If not I think Su should be fronting her own band at that time. Just watching her solos, she should be great. Don't get me wrong I love the way they are now. Just wondering.

Su sounds good on her own, she has the voice and stage presence; but I think if you watch her perform with Moa, Moa's voice is a good counter to Su and Su sounds better. Watch Shanti Shanti Shanti , Moa just brings out the best in Su's voice

It doesn’t, unfortunately. Moa did GJ! alone, during the 2018 WT but hasn’t performed any BBM songs since then.

In fact, there haven't been any solo songs so far this year, not even from Su.
As @@rickwagner- said. Even Kagerou (aka Tattoo) now has trio on stage. That new choreo for it is killer. I am pretty sure that no solos is the future for Babymetal. Nostalgia always possible at the arena shows. Wasn't "Shine" done without the Avenger, just Suu and Moa?
@John Schultz Yes, but the only two times 'Shine' has been performed were at the special 'Legend M' concerts celebrating Moa's 20th birthday.
I wouldn't be surprised if they have changed the choreography the next time it's performed.
On the other hand, the active avenger might appreciate the break. : )
