    Thank you!! This was encouraging. My daughter developed Akathisia after a few doses of a 2nd generation antipsychotic. Over a year later and this " side effect" is still effecting our lives tremendously. Although Akathisia is slightly different from TD it is still horrific and life altering. I'm encouraged by his humanity and his courage. I'm also encouraged that these treatments could lead to possible prevention and treatment of all movement disorders. For the sake of all those suffering, I pray!!!

    Tardive Dyskinesia: The Need for Treatment, what about keeping ppl on lowest dose possible, or try to withdraw medication, or not keep it on them foreverely?
