- It`s not about the video... it`s about the music... this song... Nothing else matters... all the shivers I get everytime I listen to it, the words can`t explain... When I began working on this "mix', I`ve listened to the both versions of this song hundreds of times and always enjoyed it... I will always love Metallica`s ,,Nothing else matters`` even though Apocalyptica `s strings make my soul vibrate:)... mixing them together was the only thing left to do... So... I hope you will like this ,, cover mix`` or whatever... you decide...

Exactly. Many metal artists grew up learning classical then took it into their preferred style of music. There were so many of us "band-camp" kids who listened and played heavy metal songs throughout our high school (& post secondary) who also appreciated classical/opera music. I love to see those worlds collide. Another great mix for me is Emma Shapplin in her Carmine Meo days. Epic. 👍

SilentDj300, I'back here after a decade, dude and this is still perfection. Hetfield's voice is like the alpha lion's roar and you're juxtaposing it to Apocaliptyca's chellos makes the whe ballad extra pure and powerful. Congrats man.
