I think Claude would have been a powerful and vital weapon for the absolute triumph of the mob, had it not been for that lie or misunderstanding. Claude was not guilty of Maria's lie, nor was Salvatore guilty of ignoring that he had the right guy as an ally.

Gta LCS has special place in my heart first gta game I played. Toni and Salvatore Leone has a really nice chemistry with Toni almost like a father son relationship it really is an underrated gta game
Wow didn't realize the guy who played Ralphie voiced Luigi lol that's pretty cool. I always thought Luigi was gonna be a significant character throughout 3 because he's the first "boss" you do missions for in the 3d world but I think he was just capo or soldier in Salvatores crew. He's never heard from again after you drop him off in the limo. He definitely should've had an appearance in LCS.

Did Salvatore kill 8-ball? From what he tells you in last requests it sounds like he insinuates that. To add fuel to the fire, you don't see or hear from 8-ball for the rest of the game
BalkanSwine but then again 8-ball is friends with Claude. Don't know if Sal knew that. Plus, Maria tells you that he was trying to make a deal with the Cartel by offering you to them. So maybe 8-ball was opposed to the idea. And one more thing, although this could be stretching it. GTA SA. Remember how he trusted CJ? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... but I doubt Rockstar thought that far ahead since it came out 3 years after GTA 3. Sal was also noted to be a lot more paranoid in his later years
i dont know how good their friendship was. they became friends out of necessity and only did a couple of jobs together. hell, 8ball must have supplied the bomb itself, there's only 1 place in liberty city that fits car with bombs that blow up upon starting up the engine. plus i think salvatore had bigger concerns than 8ball, claude obviously knew something was wrong, maria was missing. after last requests salvatore had 2, 3 days tops, before claude would attack him. the callahan bridge was opened which meant danger could come from any of the 3 staunton island gangs. point being, i think sal ignored 8ball for now, because he had bigger problems. fyi, im not arguing, i just really like to discuss the 3d era gtas. and i kinda like 8ball, and im trying to convince myself he wasn't whacked by sal. also, if sal didnt whack him, it would depend who became the don. joey wasnt very interested in the mafia business, but tony on the other hand made the leones powerful. and with tony being all about loyalty he wouldnt have his friend killed
theres a bombing spot in shoreside vale (all of them are owned by 8ball) i think. but only the one in portland equips the cars with this kind of bombs. 8ball didnt need to know the bomb was for claude. just tell 8ball its for a rival gang member and save yourself the trouble of persuading him. i'm hesitant to say to what extent sal would hunt his own people who knew claude, i mean the next day he goes to luigi's club. both luigi and mickey hamfists were claude's bosses at some point. if you think about it, the leones start attacking claude only after he's killed sal, if no hit was ordered on claude after last requests, would sal bother with 8ball?
Why would Sal have whacked 8-Ball? It didn't seem 8-Ball was very close to either of them to get him pulled in that situation. If Sal did gaf about 8 being Claude's friend then he prolly wouldn't have told 8-Ball anything since 8 was simply the bomb guy, an associate, not a Leone so he didn't have to know.

GTA IV was a reboot of the series. Only the radio station characters like Lazlow or celebrities like Love Fist stayed the same.

I like to think that Tony found out about his assassination and because sal screwed him over with the money I think he purposefully allowed assassination to go through mainly because that's his head capo he would inherit the don-ship. also the Sicilian Mafia withdrew any protection they would have over sal because he dissed his uncle"every dog has his day" I personally think they withdrew any oversight protection any of his allies would have had any way, considering the way he treats them I'm pretty sure they weren't too sad

I always thought Luigi was gonna be a significant character throughout 3 because he's the first "boss" you do missions for in the 3d world but I think he was just capo or soldier in Salvatores crew. He's never heard from again after you drop him off in the limo. He definitely should've had an appearance in LCS.

Did Salvatore kill 8-ball? From what he tells you in last requests it sounds like he insinuates that. To add fuel to the fire, you don't see or hear from 8-ball for the rest of the game

So maybe 8-ball was opposed to the idea. And one more thing, although this could be stretching it. GTA SA. Remember how he trusted CJ? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... but I doubt Rockstar thought that far ahead since it came out 3 years after GTA 3. Sal was also noted to be a lot more paranoid in his later years
i dont know how good their friendship was. they became friends out of necessity and only did a couple of jobs together. hell, 8ball must have supplied the bomb itself, there's only 1 place in liberty city that fits car with bombs that blow up upon starting up the engine.
plus i think salvatore had bigger concerns than 8ball, claude obviously knew something was wrong, maria was missing. after last requests salvatore had 2, 3 days tops, before claude would attack him. the callahan bridge was opened which meant danger could come from any of the 3 staunton island gangs. point being, i think sal ignored 8ball for now, because he had bigger problems.
fyi, im not arguing, i just really like to discuss the 3d era gtas. and i kinda like 8ball, and im trying to convince myself he wasn't whacked by sal.
also, if sal didnt whack him, it would depend who became the don. joey wasnt very interested in the mafia business, but tony on the other hand made the leones powerful. and with tony being all about loyalty he wouldnt have his friend killed
theres a bombing spot in shoreside vale (all of them are owned by 8ball) i think. but only the one in portland equips the cars with this kind of bombs.
8ball didnt need to know the bomb was for claude. just tell 8ball its for a rival gang member and save yourself the trouble of persuading him.
i'm hesitant to say to what extent sal would hunt his own people who knew claude, i mean the next day he goes to luigi's club. both luigi and mickey hamfists were claude's bosses at some point.
if you think about it, the leones start attacking claude only after he's killed sal, if no hit was ordered on claude after last requests, would sal bother with 8ball?
Why would Sal have whacked 8-Ball? It didn't seem 8-Ball was very close to either of them to get him pulled in that situation. If Sal did gaf about 8 being Claude's friend then he prolly wouldn't have told 8-Ball anything since 8 was simply the bomb guy, an associate, not a Leone so he didn't have to know.
