Just watched the movie. It's actually a great work.❤️❤️ I did n't feel it portrays men in a wrong way. But, simply expresses how some men simply ignores equal parenting, how women are being implicated for all the bad things happening to them, how they are treated unfairly in workplaces, descrimination faced by women from their own parents and grandparents and most importantly the conflicts faced by a new born mother. And I really liked the husband character(who is also a man)played by gong yoo who is confused at sometimes by his wife's behaviour and try to help her the way he can. If anyone feels it is against men, then I think they are the ones who always wanted to keep a blind eye to the issues faced by an ordinary women in each phases of her life and do not wanted to take responsibility, instead put both the responsibility and the blame on women.Dear haters, it is not just a fantasy, but the actual representation of the life of a women in her 30's. That is why, its gaining so much popularity among women and those few sensible men audience.

I buy the book because RM read it.. (i'm an ARMY) but then I realized .. that my future might be like Jiyoung .. and I was surprised that the main actors in this film are Yumi and Gongyoo ... I don't know if I can watch it or not .. because my heart hurts just reading the book

But if you notice that in the book there are situations where small small chances are brought about when ppl raise the voice and stand up for themselves........so don't think that your future will be like jiyoung......just do what you mind tell you and speak yourself and love yourself.

Whatever has happened it's absurd to name-call mothers mom-choong, mom-'bug'. Most of them try to do the very best they can and know to raise and take care of a child, not to meet some unreachable demands someone has set. I didn't know of this social phenomenon. Thanks for the report on the book and the movie.

I've read it twice, and even though I'm like 18 years younger than the protagonist and not Korean, it felt so frustrating at some points because it was so real, and it literally showed things that I have also experienced, I got so mad sometimes at some of the characters or points of the storyline that I literally had to close the book and calm down XD. Amazing book, I literally keep recommending it to anyone who listens to me, I even gave it to a friend for her birthday.

It’s unfortunate that this stigma follows unwed mothers. I’m sure they would be the first to tell you this isn’t the ideal situation. I don’t believe that women should seek out having children out of wedlock but when it happens, they should be embraced and supported. It’s very courageous to willing give life once created and then take responsibility.
