- Black Tea Pork is pork tenderloin cooked in black tea and then marinated in Japanese seasonings. Black tea tenderizes the meat, eliminates its odor and greasiness. It also adds the nice tea flavor to the pork. This healthy and delicious pork is so easy to make.

I've done this before with lapsang souchong (smoked tea), it gave a nice subtle smoky sweetness to the pork.
I'm going to be the weirdo that tries this with tofu.
Ooohhh I am curious how that goes!
I'll be the same trying with chicken instead 😂
Anyone tried it with beef?
Good for you! I love the way you think 😊.

never heard of boiling meat... doesn't it make tough?
Yes you have and yes it would if you were to actually boil it, but you should instead actually simmer it. There are plenty of boiled (simmered) meat dishes, and it is often done to make tough meats tender.
@@madless6192 I use sous vide quite a bit for meats, mostly steaks and things I want to give a quick sear to at the end.. but thats only 135-140 F.
@@cut-- sure that too. Think like pot roasts and such.
