What are you most looking forward to over the next seven months? Let us know in the comments!
Asseto Corsa 2. AC1 is probably one of the best if not the best sim game I've ever played so am really excited to see what AC2 is
AC2 is probably going to be extremely important especially on the console side of things. Fingers crossed the updated KS engine will continue to support modding like the first game.
EA WRC AKA Dirt Rally 3.0!!!
Gonna be amazing.
Couldn't give a toss about the rest.
Le Mans Ultimate!
EA SPORTS WRC!!! -7 Days!!! …and AC2 in 2024
AC2 is definitely what everyone is waiting for, hopefully the fact everyone has been waiting so long doesn't mean we expect too much 😬
Always the danger! Either way, we are allowed to be excited 😎
@@TraxionGG I've been playing them all. iRacing, AMS2, rF2, ACC (brilliant what it does) but the original Assetto Corsa is still the best. Undisputed king of sim racing games. I hope they don't touch the gameplay and FFB that much, just correct some issues like slippery kerbs, very basic championship mode (improve it) and include good rain mode.
AC has become a "standard" of sim racing. Don't fix what ain't broken.
Let's hope VR support is as good as AMS2
@@detonator2112 have you not tried raceroom!.. maybe best physics I've felt in any racing game. Got all the different car classes aswel ie. Dtm mega..
@@scottnixon2462 No I haven't. That's the only simi I haven't tried. I thought it's only an online game. I love to play championship seasons against ai. Does it work offline too?
By far AC2 is the one I’m most excited about. ACC is incredible, if they can achieve that quality with a wider variety of cars and tracks, then it’s going to be special.
Fingers crossed!
To answer your closing question: this style of video made me hit the subscribe button. This corner of the gaming community doesnt ever get this style of news.
Our options outside of these are all clickbaity, oddly (sometimes terrifyingly) specific niche pieces of upcoming news so dotted and scattered across the creator-space that we have to watch 20 videos from 7 different sources to get our morning news about our hobby.
Here with the video you've put together I was able to vibe through my morning routine while taking in a healthy dose of said news all in one bite. This format has been needed for a damned long time in this community and if you keep it up Ill become and remain a diehard fan and viewer
Really appreciate the feedback! We enjoyed making it, plan is to do more stuff like this in future covering relevant topics in the racing game space. Thanks for your sub and your support, welcome to Traxion🙂
@TraxionGG I also want to add that this style of video is killer content. If you make these consistently I'd sub and even pay monthly :)
TDU has soooooooooo much potential. My expectations are certainly back to earth after Forza Motorsport, but I can’t wait to get my hands on TDU.
About AC2...
I've been playing now AC F1 Championship mods for WEEKS. It literally took me weeks to get everything set up properly first through the json files. I'm not talking about getting the mods to work BUT to make the AI grid clocking realistic qualifying times and all that. I have 1986, 1991, 2002 and 2022 seasons. I tweaked the values endlessly and tried to learn how the championship system works. I think I figured it out and managed to create AI drivers' skills quite well to match my (poor) sim racing abilities. Played three full seasons (all races) and I've been enjoying it so much. Best gaming experience I ever had. Was it worth the hassle? YES. For me, but not for the average player. It's not just about setting things up to make it work, I also want REALISTIC results. That was the hardest part.
Anyway, I hate all kinds of GT7 type modes where you have to go to the cafe and chat with someone, then successfully graduate from Lada and Kia stages to BMW/Audi stages. I don't need any of that garbage. I played GT7 through and the actual driving is not bad at all and the physics aren't bad, it's just all those tasks and mandatory "campaigns" and "licenses" you have to get before you get the tracks. Awful.
Proper sim should not have ANY gimmicks. Just all cars available like in vanilla AC and pure driving.
However, career modes are nice extra but they should not be mandatory, EVER. They should not be the integral part of the game.
CHAMPIONSHIP, however should be. Now the current AC Championship mode is very, very basic. It's ok and works. Details are easily adjustable through Notepad. That is excellent.
I don't really need all the podium animations and that Codemasters/EA stuff. I just need PROPER statistics from each race. Preferably something that you can easily export to PDF files. I want proper replays in the Championship menu where you can go back and watch the highlights of the races (and also save them directly from the championship menus).
AC is almost perfect. AI, however, is not. It's not much better than Codemasters /EA games. It's ok in the races and the aggressive position defending forces you to REALLY be cautious where you do the overtaking. But it just knocks you out too easily in qualifying, especially when the ai drivers are on their slow qualifying lap. It's idiotic and totally unrealistic that they don't even get out of the way and don't give space. It HAS to be improved.
What the modders have achieved with AC it unbelievable. I hope AC2 will be easily moddable as possible and let these talented, passionate people take care of the rest.
Summary: What works in a simcade/arcade game don't necessarily belong to a pure driving simulator. Even imagining a story mode on AC (like a woman driver wants to become a F1 star like on some EA game) makes me shiver. LOL. Please no gimmicks. :)
"Forza" sounds so much better than "Fort-suh." I refuse to change my pronunciation of it, even if it's incorrect. Fort-suh is such an ear grater lol.
Lemans Ultimate has me really excited. WEC and IMSA are my favorite. But of course AC2 I’m all for it!
My Thrustmaster T300 + Wheel Stand Pro V2 + IKEA Poäng are very happy with this 💟
Already got slap-on subscribtion lenses at an VR Optician so I don't have to wear glasses or contacts. Amazing times we live in!
I had a Poang and T300 combo for about 3 years, elite level budget sim racing right there, great job 😉 - Piers
The positive reviews of EA's WRC across the board were almost suspicious :-). I am very glad that this game would seem to be really great. Looking forward to the user's reviews.
When the biggest names in sim racing CZcams say it's great then it's gonna be great... these guys would never risk their reputation and then hundreds of thousands of subs just to lie for EA...
@@sportschool3537 I agree. That’s why I use “were” instead of “are”. Every CZcams channel whether more to the sim or arcade side loved the game.
I’m just dumbfounded how positive it’s been received. Even the price is great.
@@sportschool3537 any CZcamsr can express a dishonest opinion and claim it's a matter of personnal opinion, especially with sim racing. "Big names" are also prone to be showered with free stuff and attention by the industry. No shade thrown, just a fact to take into account.
I'd rather trust less known people that demonstrated a superior dedication (with in depth analysis unrelated to a specific product for exemple), and/or clearly don't use "commercialy correct" language.
Forza horizon 5 was also great on release and now barely anyone is playing it anymore
@@privatesgooglekonto7638 That games got repetitive. Amazing graphics though.
AC2 I am most excited for…and will pick up WRC for Xmas!
EA WRC is perfect timing for a Christmas present!
I am excited yet worried about AC2 I feel as tho the modding community as made AC into what AC2 could be. If kunos don't allow mods or don't make porting stuff from AC to AC2 viable then I feel alot of the AC community will stay on AC. A perfect example is the drifting community. There are so many dedicated drifting mods (cars and tracks) and 2 esports leagues that if AC2 comes and porting from ac to ac2 doesn't work or is difficult then the drifting community will just stay in AC. I think the general racing and league racing communities will migrate regardless but the drifting community won't until mods are figured out and it's actually better than AC with CSP and PP filters.
If the drifting stuff carries over/new stuff can be made, i'll be a happy happy man.
Agreed, i used to primarily play AC for everything, racing, cruises, drifts. But these days I play other sims, AMS2 for racing etc. But i still come back to AC just to touge n drift online
Fantastic insight Gentlemen 😊👌
Thank you so much!
Exciting future ahead! 😊😊😊
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the discussion
Im super excited for the WEC game I hope it's gonna be awesome because I love WEC and endurance racing a lot!
Just waiting for AC2, but also hoping lemans ultimate is good. We will see about Rennsport.
If all three blossom well it'll be a great time to be a sim racer!
With RF2 getting new online stuff… I’d love to see some new DLC for it?
Looking forward to hear more about ac2 and tsc
We will keep you updated on Traxion.gg 😉
Very much looking forward to the LMP game!!
I bought the Thrustmaster T248 in the beginning of 2023. I already see a huge difference in lap times in different games. I'm really happy I bought it!
Great to hear!
Have you tired VR sim racing? I’ve noticed I’m way faster in VR than a flat screen… I think it’s just easier to judge distance
@@V8chump I haven't tried it yet. It looks amazing to try someday but right now I need to save money for my study. I hope I can try it in the future
Cant wait to see how td solar crown end up!
15:00 what game is that with the fos hillclimb?
AC2 and Le Mans Ultimate has me really hyped. I love ACC but the idea to finally play with hypercars and multiclass madness at Le Mans is so refreshing. I think LMU can be to rF2 what ACC was to AC. It can focus on fewer cars and tracks, put lots of attention to detail there, and start fresh with a new UI and leave all the 10 year old DLCs etc behind. I'm pretty confident LMU can be the next big thing like ACC was. And then there's AC2 that has, with the experience from AC and ACC, all the tools to take the best of both worlds, the UX friendly & polished ACC experience with the car and track diversity of AC, without any limitations from SRO. If Kunos did their homework, they copied the fuck out of LFM and iRacing for their online system which would them allow to be the single market leader. Really excited for these two titles.
So are we!
Nice recovery and strategy
WRC needs VR on pS5
👍 Good stuff! Do you guys know if Logitech will release a new and up to date gearshift box and handbrake for the Logitech playseat for the DD pro wheel and pro pedals?
No information as yet, Traxion.GG will be the place to find out if/when anything is announced
Word Kool info good discussion,thanks
You're welcome! Thanks for the comment
I just bought my first steering wheel. It's a fanatec steering while with CSL DD base and pedals. And it's awesome! I also got it working under Linux.
GTR Revival looks really good. That is one that I'm most excited to try.
I am so excited for AC2 especially as a console player I hope the multiplayer is more lively
Rennsport will be december? I thought it would be 2024. Damn i am more hyped now. Ggs. Cant wait to play the full game
Kunos should just add onto ACC and make it the official WEC sim. Add hypercars and all the tracks associated with WEC
Just imagine if Kunos got the F1 license from Codemasters / EA. That would be heaven.
Agree with you both 110%!!!
Very interesting (and exciting) to see a Test Drive Unlimited title in this lineup. I played the crap out of TDU1, and I was even a beta tester on TDU2, although that didn't end up being the product it should have been, unfortunately.
If AC 2 is like ACC quality, or AC with PURE quality. A argee selection of cars that make sense I dont need 800 cars when i probably will race like 20 of them. and good AI which is what racing games are lacking with a decent story/carreer mode which would be the cherry on top.
I Want the AC equivalent of Rally
Can't wait for WRC
The original ac is so dang real. I race time attack irl and use Buttonwillow mod with c7 corvette and few other cars to practice and it's dang close. Something more remarkable is that project cars 2 I can almost match my lap time on cota in c7z on soft compound trofeo r tires vs my real life c7z on Goodyear supercar 3r tires. I did a 2:16.81 at superlap battle 2023 and in the game did a 2:17.4 then got back from the event and went 2:16.84 so for me the original ac and project cars 2 are very important and realistic. More so that say gt7 and laguna Seca or willow springs with same car and tires. Within about 1 seconds but doesn't feel as real.
Always interesting when your lap times are that close, shows how far sims have come in a short space of time!
Will there be a new Moza R12 already? What did I miss?
11:04 this is really good news 💟
Yep, its a great time to be a racing game fan and customer
great discussion
Thanks!
as someone who doesn't play online I'm kinda sad that a lot of these are very dependent on online racing and it determines whether or not the game is good or not. A lot more games are also coming out with very very brief SP/Campaign modes and are reliant on the online community. I hope this trend does not continue.
Well, racing games are about rivalry, and what is better than beating other players? I couldn't really enjoy AI racing (even in iracing they behave dumb)
AI is just too limited to provide the same amount of fun in simulations. For singleplayer titles I think Arcade or Simcade games are better
some of us don't have stable or good internet connections, nor want to have to deal with kids who ram you in turn 1, don't want to be bothered by being forced to be part of a community of online strangers or limited to a timezone or setup or track or stop randomly on the track or just ram you because they have the big mad. I'd rather be able to play when I want rather than have to plan my real life around a video game and a random communities time set race. If i want to alt f4 mid way thru race because real life or press pause because real life I should be able too. When I played Iracing I have no problems not doing MP modes. I stayed with time trial, hotlap and ai races and really enjoyed myself. Just like with ACC I don't touch online ever, i do ai in career mode, events or just make my own races. Not everything should be about being online
I agree 100%. I love ACC more than any other sim, but because I'm on PS5, and the online mode for it is horrible, I race AI exclusively. I don't mind that at all, but its career mode is a joke, some I'm left with doing individual seasons. The AI should be improved across the board too.
Can't deny I'm a bit disappointed to know that the next WRC game is not a pure rally simulator like RBR was, because I'm ready for something other than another sim-cade experience. I enjoy DiRT Rally 2.0, but mostly because the VR mode is really good, or at least on my Quest 3 it is.
Nice video, gives a good oversight. I love the forza multiplayer. Its accessible enough to do short sessions after work. The singleplayer experience has been dissapointing though. The ai sucks.
I have found exactly that, one or two quick races after work and before dinner. Works perfectly! Haven't been back to single player though.... - John
8:02 Um no it takes nothing from Horizon as TDU was the basis for that Franchise in the first place, all what you described is what TDU 1 and 2 did, 2 did it even further with used instead of showroom cars being your starter.
I'm not sold on TDU SC just yet though.
The only thing I want is a proper racing sim for manual driven cars of the 80´s and 90´s with exquisite FFB and sound. And I want to host my own sessions with my buddys.
What I wanna know is...Will Peter Bose and Lija Jusupov Still be involved with AC2!? Hell... Those 2 should be on the development team lol! Legends...
RADIO communication is OVERDUE
We know nothing about AC2 and I'm excited for it. We know quite a lot about Rennsport and... meh
We are excited to see the future of both, all sim's offer something slightly different and unique. The more competition, the better all products will become, which is good for everyone
We'll be lucky if AC2 arrives the 4th Qt 2024.
Let's wait and see!
All i want is the writing, action and freedom gta with the realism and driving mechanics of AC....
Did i hear that EA WRC doesnt have triple monitor support?!? Hopefully thats not the case. Im building my new sim rig currently and just purchased 3 Alienware 34" OLEDs. In 2023 support for triple monitors in a sim racing title should be standard. Cool video guys!
No I hear it has true triple monitor support. They reiterated that it will be a geometrically true triple screen after backlash from it not being geometrically true
Wow didnt know test drive was going to use more realistic physics like forza motorsport definitely super interested now. Hopefully theres lots of twisty roads unlike horizon. Hopefully ac2 has a.i similar to gt7 sophy a.i, that would make it the best racing game ever by far, no need to touch anything else
That would be cool!
Does Rennsport have VR?
What happened to the TOCA game?
Brilliant video.
I am soooo glad that you didn't use that monstrosity of word "simcade". Let's be honest: there are just two kind of "digital" racing: arcade and simulation. One can be just one thing and the other can only be one thing, too. It's like to say that a woman is "kind" of pregnant - she can't be "kind of", or she is or she isn't.
Cheers, guys! :)
Solar crown is the one I’m most hoping will be good. The crew motorfest isn’t quite as good as ppl hoped it would be basically a more arcadey Forza Horizon so I’m really hoping Solar Crown can go slightly the other way and be more a little more simcade than horizon is and really give us 3 open world games that can really span the width of arcade up to realistic simcade
I was hoping FM would be as good as PC2's good cars which i thought was a pretty low bar. Alas it wasnt bold enough so now ill wait for AC2
Really hoping AC2 doesn't try to stay compartmentalized and leave ACC as the GT3 stalwart. That'd be a big miss for Kunos but it's possible they don't want to supercede ACC yet.
I like your content 🏁🎮🌍😎✌️
Thanks!
Were is btcc game I seen the add online too now to rfactor what's next and adding the missing tracks too
AC2 has a chance to become *THE* sim racing game. Will be goated if they take the the FFB from OG AC, add a quality multiplayer system with rating and a persistent profile, retain the modability, improve the graphics and VR support, more robust MP features, single player features, and improved AI + updated tracks/laser scans.
This is the racing sim I have the highest hopes for. Fingers crossed! Hopefully they don't ruin it with greed and overmonetization.
I would not be surprised if AC2 was penned for Next christmas. Or it releases as bare bones to start off. Hmm i wonder.
I check out when they praised how good rennsport is.
Idk, ac2 has some big shoes to fill. Content manager, csp, sol/pure, the quality of some of these mods, vr support that got fleshed out by the community because kunos wouldn’t. I would venture to say that AC of today isn’t even kunos’ anymore (obviously this isn’t legally true). It might even benefit them to bend heavily to mid support and let the community build the game up again
Definitely AC2! If it will be modded like AC, it will for sure be next level! AC still looks amazing so Ican only imagine what people will do with AC2
AC2 will be amazing 😍 especially if they support modding hopefully peter and ilijea go ham
That remains to be seen, keep up to date on our website for the latest updates Traxion.gg
god i hope ea wrc is better feeling than generations. also hope they have some rallycross like DR2.0 did. it was hard as shit but super underrated
Hello from sim can we reach to formula 1?
Of all these games how many will be playable on xbox series x and for me im most exctied for test drive solar crown
Solar crown is looking good!
LMU in February boiiii
I can’t imagine it will be better than modded AC. I think Ac2 will just be modded AC. I’m ok with that, I think the console generation deserves that too.
We hope its a new generation game that builds on all the best features of AC, that would be great
Hey guys. One thing that I can see in forza is the lack of safety rating it seems to me that pushing and moving other players is more like BUMP TO PASS than racing and it ruins the drive something they should do to allow better racing over all. Cheers
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Bump to pass can become frustrating
It's adorable that you guys think Le Mans Ultimate will ever be released in any kind of usable form.
The only thing missing is Autocross!!! +1 for SCCA Please!
Interesting... Autocross is very cool
Playing AMS2 until AC2.Rennsport looks like a ACC clone
As a German I can confirm that the whole project is rather shady
Yes why on earth they're trying to reinvent the wheel? I don't even play ACC that much but it's one hell of a simulator. Rennsport has to be really, really good if it wants to beat ACC in its own game.
If AC2 is what the name promises my rig ist gonna be upgraded heavily
You'll love it even if your bank balance doesn't!
You guys forgot about forza horizon 6 Japan , torque drift 2 , jdm etc
Alas, still no Indy game coming out. 😢
If Ac2 isn't setup and tyre pressure simulator, then we will have the perfect game imo
That is a large part of real racing though, so I'm sure it'll be a component. We hope it lives up to expectation as much as everyone else
Then go play forza. Simulation games arent for you.
Assetto Corsa is still the best sim ever, and I mainly played the console version LOL I can't wait for AC2 and I'm glad I now have a PC that can run it since I'm sure they'll delay the hell out of the console version. The mods definitely make it worth it to get on PC anyways
How can i get a job with you guys 🥺 we need a real life drag racing game
All these amazing racing sims… and still no boat sims!!!!
Manufacturers are going to have to, sooner or later, cater to the consoles as well as pc. Mire so than currently.
We agree, console compatible direct drive options are spread thin, but it's such an important market!
nice
Man I hope you're right about Solar Crown. I've wanted a more hardcore open world racer since forever. Gimmie Forza Horizon but without the overly forgiving handling and the ridiculous cross country arcade nonsense. I want to battle the terrain, not scoot over it smashing stone walls. I want to have genuine experiences in these cars on these surfaces. Open world racing is so much more appealing to me for so many reasons, not the least of which is getting to spend actual, genuine downtime with the cars. Also a big fan of street racing, at least in video games. There are other reasons but those are probably the biggest two.
Unfortunately I have no faith in the dev. I do hope to be proven wrong though, nothing would make me happier.
EA WRC is my current most anticipated though. I am still playing and still loving DR2.0.
Thanks for the comment! Solar crown could be epic, and we are also really excited for EA WRC
Is noone excited for GTR Revival? :D
We are! Currently we believe the aim is release as soon as ready 'holiday 2024' traxion.gg/the-could-be-the-first-in-game-look-at-gtr-revival/
I wonder.. will Need For Speed ever be good again? . Last good game was NFS2 SE and Porsche unleashed. 😅
AC2, drift mods.
skrrrtttt
GTRevival?
Not scheduled for the next 7-months. Currently will be 'released when ready' aiming for 'holiday 2024' traxion.gg/the-could-be-the-first-in-game-look-at-gtr-revival/
TEST DRIVE YES . I HOPE THEY KEEP THE CASINO IN IT 😂
That would be a gamble...
Oh, we will be eating so good :3
Om Nom Nom Nom
forza wont even load to this day from start up for me and a few friends
Fana-tech, not fanatic. Please. Good video and looking fwd to some of these titles, very exciting for once!!
That's John's accent kicking in there! Thanks for the comment
I find it both sad AND enlightening that only a couple weeks after Forza Motorsport released we are already looking to the future for the next big title. FM was touted to be and was expected to be that title, but what was released has been a hot mess IMO. T10 has let us down once again. This release seems to be much worse and more broken that FM7 at launch, and FM7 was quite a dumpster fire.
Wait is Rennsport still comming out? I mean NFT's are kinda over so why bring out an NFT game.
Yep! Still coming :D
I’m enjoying Forza 👍
guys I'm looking for some help. I want a really thick steering wheel for my fanatec dd pro using universal hub v2. Would you happen to have any suggestions?
Sim racing bay competition wheel
The fact the new Forza didnt have VR support is just a massive L. In classic turn 10 fashion they take way too much time making the game look pretty and not actually be any better
Idk if ac 2 will be amazing, most of the reason why ac is so good is because of the mods, without it's not anything crazy, it's good, not as good as mods
Ac2 is GTA6
😬
I bought FMS and found it good. But the claim of 6 years of development was a marketing exaggeration. FMS lacks in many aspects. ACC is superior here.
