Here is the second part of my monster spotting visit to Lisbon Airport, not as long as part one this one. We start off with a heavy downpour here for about 15 minutes, which left me absolutely drenched! I actually intended to pack away as I thought the rain was here to stay. The moment I did that, it completely stopped, so I rushed to reassemble so I could get the SATA A320. Then from there onwards it was intervals of sunny spells, before another downpour right at the end.
An interesting airport for movements indeed, specifically the international carriers such as TAAG, I actually really like their livery. Other interesting movements in this video include a pair of Euroatlantic Airways', a 767 and 737 both doing charters to and from Dusseldorf. In addition the somewhat rare TAP A340-300's are also featured! I must say they do look nice. And a mix of A332's of TAP's, one of which with the Trent 700's, which looked gorgeous! Other movements include SATA A320's, Swiss A321, Air France and Lufthansa A321's, Star Air 767-200F, Swift Air ATR 42-300F, DHL 757-200F, TAP A320's, A319's, A321's, E190's and ATR 72's, Aigle Azur A320, Transavia 737's, Ryanair 737's, Vueling A320 and A321 and many more movements to keep you entertained for 80 mins!
If you watched this and enjoyed it, make sure to check out the first part of this video, which includes another TAAG 777, Azul A330, more TAP heavies, Emirates 777, an A310 and more!

You should go to Montreal, Canada for planespotting. There is plenty of AWESOME spots. There is also old airplanes operating like 732s and A310s
Would absolutely love to visit YUL, in addition to loads of other Canadian airports 😃
Anyone like me noticed Sata A320 moved slightly to the left as it began take off roll?
great video !
Thank you 🙂
Tomorrow i am flying from lisbon to Amsterdam do you know if there is a Spotting Place at the airport like inside? or at a panomara terrace.
Great as usual. Question if you dont mind. I am thinking of getting a dedicated camcorder for spotting as opposed to using my Lumix G7 as zooming smoother and pic seems smoother on Cam you use when tracking, G7 seems to stutter when panning left or right. Youre Can has 50x optical zoom, do you ever use this or would a 20x optical zoom be good enough. Thank you.
Yeh I use 50x zoom :) Recommended over a Lumix :)
Thanks for you great videos and willingness to answer questions. What tripod do you use ?
Great Video!
And 50 fps does a lot difference. keep that way
Thanks, glad you like it
Do you have something like a Planespotters.net or Airliners.net account? Because some of these shots - if taken as pictures - would go down really well on there :)
I don't no, thanks for the compliment though 🙂
Pilot fly so good
Hey im new to planespotting and i have the same camera as you! I had some problems with the recording settings because i dont know wich are the best for youtube and plane spotting. Can you please tell me some of youre recording settings and how you het the best quality? 👍🏻
I use 1080p/50fps, best format to record in my opinion :)
Unfortunately, no matter how well your video might be, "CZcams" does modify whatever you might upload for playback. Here is the IP for a forum that might help you get the best out of your work: www.tomsguide.com/forum/all.html?refine=upload+high+quality+videos+youtube. Good luck! I look forward to see your work.
Wow! I decided to just comment once for both your videos from Lisbon. Editing 9 hours of video into 3 hours for “CZcams” must have been a lot of work. I most certainly do appreciate it incredibly much! You are a machine! On top of that, hanging in there with all the inclement weather makes you a hero. Ha... Ha… Ha!! I do watch plane spotting videos very intently and notice a great deal. It was well worth the wait to watch the STAR AIR 767, TAAG 777, and DHL 757 at the end. It seems that the Boeing aircraft have better takeoff performance than Airbus. However, I will keep this in mind as I watch more of your videos to see if my theory holds. With the exception of the Ebraer 190's and ATR-72's, it was interesting to note that TAP exclusively uses Airbus aircraft. I wonder if this is true of any other major airline? When I thought I had the differences between the A319 and A320 figured out, Airbus put in another exit over the wing on some of their A319 versions. Darn! By the way, your video over watch position was absolutely fantastic! I have many other notes, but I do not want to be writing a book in the comment box. So, now that I can check the boxes for your Lisbon videos, I’ll catch your flight home videos in a day or two. Thank-you again so much for your work. You did an outstanding job, which is why you are one of my favorites. Just one other thing… I also enjoy reading the comments your viewers leave. Some of them are exceptionally good.
Thanks a lot as usual Rex :) Enjoy the journey back to London via Madrid :D
Whenever there's a planespotting video uploaded outside UK I always predict that a tripreport will follow.
OMG is that the control tower at 3:51?!
And are you going to do spotting at night would be amazing
No the control tower can be seen near the threshold of 03
Yes in my own country, and yes theres flight reports to come 🙂
