I got suspicious when he hovered over the "fake" dragon egg and it didn't display the anvil information. Has anyone else noticed that before seeing the ending?

When the resource pack was enabled, I thought people we're gonna see "Anvil", but I just thought it was part of the resource pack when he hovered over it and it said "Dragon Egg".

@@TooMuchFoxs Yes he could however the actual Dragon Egg has a purple name and if he renamed the fake egg then it would still be white because it's an anvil
At 11:18 you could actually tell they were real Dragon Eggs because of the name's color when he hovered over it for half a second. Only very rare items have purple colored names.

Who else knew before the ending?
Here were some clues:
The eggs had a purple text
After you'd place them, you'd hear a *TING* from the anvil, so everyone would know
The "admin" said they'd put the resource pack for 1 day, but the plan lasted multiple days
The ting sound can be be replaced in a resource pack but I don't think the name can be changed via it
@@loljay3281 Resource packs can change the language file for naming things but it can't make the name purple

Honestly I just noticed it was a sequel to the /give server video where literally they did spawn in dragon eggs like right off the bat.
What's funny is that my brother has a world with two dragon eggs. When he was fighting the dragon for the second time it glitched and became invisible. He re logged and it was visible again, but after he killed it, it dropped another egg.
Same happened to me
there was on some version a way to multiply the dragon egg on the end portal

You could see the twist coming with the way the owner of the server apparently just LET THEM put a random resourse pack on the server like that.

i wanted to foreshadow that the ending would happen they way it did; so putting a few plot inconsistencies gave the impression that something felt wrong
I saw that and one of two things immediately became obvious: this was a reverse troll or the admins of the server were just idiots, which was substantially more plausible...
the editing and effort that you put into this is so good
I mean it makes more sense they were actually duped cause there was a lot of quirks you'd notice throughout the video like how anvils have a defined hitbox that isn't a cube, or why would the owner allow you to put a random resource pack for just one day and this clearly lasting at least 2 days

ima be honest i found it kinda weird that nobody knew it was an anvil since the F3 + H hotkey kinda exists so that ending made things a lot clearer

I was oddly suspicious of the fact that nobody had right clicked an egg and seen it was an anvil inventory. Then it all made sense at the end lmfao so you half got me :P
yeah we left in a few plot holes to foreshadow the ending so props to you for realizing them
There is a actual way to duplicate the dragon egg, it's just a glitch involving the end portal, and it's able to duplicate every block that have gravity

In my server, the Egg is not just the most valuable item but also the most powerful one. People who have it can have unlimited power and will also be the King who can write rules for the server whenever they want. However it didn't work out quite well because someone went and killed the dragon and took the Egg while no one was online. And then he hide it somewhere that no one can find.
