What could be happening, the separator is empty after driving for a month?
Hi William, of course we have limited information based on your questions. If the separator is low after a month of driving and you have hard starting, we recommend you check the seal and the check valve. We recommend you also check to make sure that the fuel housing on the fuel water separator is properly tightened and there is no damage to those seals. Also make sure that the check valve is free of any foreign debris. Hope this helps. Good luck!
what color is the water you drain.? i’m getting notification daily.
So when draining the fuel water separator, you may get a clear or blackish water which is normal. If you get color like your coolant ( red, purple or green eta) there could be more of a problem there.
How bout if the water separater keeps filling up with fuel every 40 or miles???
