Hey, TAT. Great videos as always. Content suggestion: can we get a toolbox tour, most used tools, favorite tools, and favorite hand tool brand? Thanks
Nice video
Thanks
Can you make a. video addressing oil I'm the fuel water separator/tank?
Is replacing those o-rings part of preventative maintenance? Can I get them replaced to avoid this issue?
U are true guys
You guys in the states have those seals leak?
In the UK I worked for mercedes for 15 years and I have never replaced any of those, even with trucks on 1,000,000 kms never changed.
Nice Video. Thanks! I’m almost ready to just sell rig. The rates are horrible & so many issues w/these rigs.
What platform are you using to sell your rig? I’m ready to sell mine also
ME too they are all phucking junk!! @@darronwesley756
I had the same problem on my detroit 14l 60 s.
What was your solution?
When would you recommend to have this done to your tractor truck? would you say you recommend having this service done over 100,000 or maybe 300,000 mile.
500k
How much is the cost to change all 6 injector cups
How do you feel about rebuilding a dd15
I want to know to just blew mine due to a fail oring
Why is the fuel in the Davco black?
The filter is dirty and needs changed, doesn’t necessarily mean the fuel is dirty but in this case it makes sense
@@Rooster.14 ok. Thanks. I didnt know it could get that color. Its never happened to me, but good to know
All of that is true , But what I hate about a Cummins engine even the old school engines , you had to pull the heads to replace cups ,
Back in the day they were coppers that set down in there
You don’t have to pull heads off for the other manufacturers?
Then a shop tricked me on a cat back in the day. 👎
@@jaxturner7288 Well you got to live and learn , I like Cummins then any of the other engines my self ,
The old Cummins 3 heads they were coppers and they were pressed in , that is why you had to pull the heads off , Pretty much the same way on the one head ISX engines
Had the cups done on my 2015 ISX last year, Cummins engine shops has tools to change the cups without pulling the head. A dealer or other shops might not have them.

Never heard of that before , I could be wrong , but what they probably done , was dropped around looking washer down in there , and They have a tool that cranks down in there and pushes the washer down into the injector cup hole and squeezes it against the head more so they will stop LEAKING , and when they put the injector back down in there , your injector tip goes through the hole of the washer design that I am talking about and reseels up , I have seen guys do that it does work , But I do not know for how long
How much would a job like this cost ?
Too much
This is so wrong.DD15 high pressure common rail system don’t have fuel return.also has lot PSI in there . The dd15 injection is one way. You said from injector "That's completely impossible."
