If I remove the main air line from the compressor that goes to the air dryer with the engine idling and I place my finger over the line, how much air pressure should i feel on my finger? I placed my finger over the air discharge fitting at my compressor with the engine running and I don't get much pressure. Air does come out but every now and then it will sputter. With the line connected and engine running I only get 65 to 70psi.

How much should a good diesel tech charge for a valve adjustment job?

I realize this is an old video but I'm hoping you'll see this. We currently have a 2023 freightliner Cascadia with a DD13. I'm doing my best to learn as much as I can before we order our 2026. As of now I think I'm going to spec it with a DD15 set at the lowest HP rating with the tallest rears I can order. We're trying to squeeze as much MPG as we can. Any advice you can give would be great. Thanks in advance.

2013 579 with epa10 paccar is doing almost the same thing. im getting excessive coolant pressure only when the truck is loaded and im in hills. if im empty or idle all night then i dont loose any coolant, but soon as i get loaded and climb a hill it starts blowing out through the over flow and is worse the heavier i am or the steeper the hill. example is i lost a whole gallon after 80 miles with a 45k lb load on the truck, but with a 27klb load i did over 400 and lost a gallon, with the same 27k load i did a hill that was steep enough to require 5th gear and during those few minutes that i took to climb the hill i lost over a gallon of coolant. block test turned green but not yellow. we are leaning towards head gasket or cracked head but people keep saying its my compressor. what do you think? id think if it was the compressor then why dont i lose coolant at idle or even when empty instead of only when loaded

Изначально собрали плохо потом ещё немного покатались вот и результат. Когда колёса собираете новые нужно сразу вешать на баланс и смотреть нормально село на диск если прыгает спускаешь его на диске прокручиваешь пол оборота и снова на баланс!

So before all this admission junk came about, trucks were blowing out their valves constantly? I highly doubt that😂😂😂 They run better before these emissions regulations, and they run better deleted. It just needs to be deleted correctly, timing, fule and other programs need to be properly adjusted.
