The mini doc shows what perfectionists these guys were. Absolutely genius. I love they have so many upbeat songs about improving humanity and the world. With such a powerful band sending out those kind of vibes it’s no wonder our generation grew up adoring them and still do.
There is a "Making of" video for this song. Since you enjoyed seeing inside the studio, you would enjoy this mini documentary.

There are two versions: The official one, and an "edited" version by Chinwonder2. They're both the same length (20 minutes)... The Chinwonder2 version is better, because it has a few more interesting bits incorporated in it.🖖💕

This song ended up being the opening number during Queen's Magic Tour in 1986 (the last tour with Freddie), and it was a killer as an opener. You should check it out live at Wembley, plus as others have noted in the comments, the mini-doc on the making the song. Watching the process of it all coming together, the collaboration, etc., is pretty amazing.

You should react to the Making Of One Vision!! Its a documentary about the process of writing and recording this song, you get to see them in the studio and you can learn a little more about their personalities and their bond as a band!!

saw them in Vancouver a couple times in the 70s and unlike when we saw Pink Floyd who had to at the time use tapes queen managed to do everything from the studio live even Rhapsody was good live.at the time one of the most inventive rock bands ever .i am sure they saw the Beatles and Floyd and how they couldnt play live and took that into consideration .AWESOME BAND Very under rated drummer

Immer wieder schön, die alten Münchner Musicland Studios mit dem großen Mack. Was für großartige Titel dort eingespielt worden sind. Donna Summer, ELO, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Meat Loaf, Stones und natürlich QUEEN, Freddie Mercury und Roger Meddows Taylor mit sechs Alben, gaben sich die Ehre. Ein Stück verlorenes Musikgeschichte.
Gar nicht gewusst dass das in Münchnen aufgenommen wurde. Wahnsinn. Danke für die Info! 👍

This is a wonderful song, thank you for reacting. I love the quick clip of John Deacon on the drums, that is so cool. While making the video, at one point, Freddie was messing around, entertaining the band and substituting the items on a Chinese Menu for the lyrics, so the band decided to leave in the "Fried Chicken" ending

They opened the show at Wembley with this song, and the crowd were going OFF! It’s fantastic, you could do a reaction to that now. And like others have already suggested, the ‘Making of One Vision’ documentary is great. It’s about 20 minutes I think, but lots of fun and so interesting to see their creative process at work. There’s bickering and joking around, you can see the lyrics and melodies coming together. You’ll love Freddie’s ad libbed words and you’ll see how the Fried chicken reference came about. Highly recommend

You coined Queen a "Super Group"...the equivalent in Rock as "Super Food" is to a Health. There's just something about Queen that feeds you to feel good. Freddie got his wish.
Just a bit of info. The engineer Mack only used 4 microphones for the drums and roger was astounded that the final recording was better than using 12! ❤️❤️

You had me at FRIED CHICKEN 🍗 Just subbed 💟 I really appreciate your analysis when it comes to Queen! This song was inspired by MLK’s “I have a dream speech”. Even tho Roger Taylor wrote the bulk of the lyrics Queen agreed to give writing credits to all band members! I’d like to request IT’S LATE & LET ME LIVE by Queen! 👑👑

Such a great idea for a song from Roger. The whole song is extra special because they showed behind the scenes studio stuff. It's a shame more bands didn't, it makes me think we missed so much.
