    But, I deeply regret getting rid of some of my classic, very high-quality blazers when I retired. I can’t find comparable quality at ant price point now, and those styles wouldn’t have dated. I still love wearing blazers more casually.

      That's too bad you got rid of them! Blazers that can be worn for work and also more casually are such a great wardrobe staple.

    Well tailored and quality "corporate" attire, like blazers/jackets, blouses, skirts, pants can all be integrated into more casual attire. Combining a single more formal item with more casual attire e.g. Tailored pants with a linen shirt and sandals, satin skirt with leather jacket, tailored blazer with jeans elevates the entire casual look and can be quite chic.
    If you have good quality pieces they can easily integrate into your new wardrobe. There is certainly no need to throw them out unless they have company logos embroidered or are uniforms or worn out.

      Yes agreed! Any items that are versatile enough that can translate from work to play that you love are definitely pieces worth keeping. I agree that the key is mixing them with more casual pieces.
