Love the attention to detail and the build quality on this. Could be the start of a new collection. What do you guys think of this Replicade or New Wave Toys in general?
Congrats on picking up GnG. In the year since I first discovered New Wave Toys, I have become a huge fan of the company.
Not only do they bring very high quality and mind blowing attention to detail, but they back up the quality with their pre-sales that assure you get a limited edition replica machine for the lowest price it will ever be. Zoltar was my first pre-order, but I had no reservations about grabbing the combo of both GnG variants and also have the Berzerk and Frenzy combo preordered since I would probably be able sell one of them for nearly the price I paid for both…or if I decide to keep both, I’ll know I got the best price.
Zoltar looks really cool. Am hoping the Survivor Series Bezerk comes over here, I love the look of it and the flickering marquee
@@CHQArcade Yeah, I’m really looking forward to checking out Zoltar. As a kid, I was pretty fascinated by robots and animatronics so I’m really looking forward to having a miniature of my own.
I am slightly concerned that my wife might try to claim it for herself like she tried with my New! Coke vending machine, since I can’t use that as an excuse to buy an alternate version when there isn’t an alternate version of Zoltar….Might have to buy another when they drop.
Also quite excited for Berzerk which looks gorgeous and can’t wait to look for all the tiny details they’ll add to Frenzy (Survivor Series)
I’ve also picked up a few of the Quarter Arcades from Numskull-and they don’t disappoint either, but with prices as they are I have to be a little more picky about those. The 2 pack combos for GnG and Berzerk were cheaper than just one of the TMNT or Space Invaders from Numskull-which is why I already bought all of the Wave 2 Replicades so far but resisted the urge to pick up all but Space Invaders II x Quarter Arcade.
@@ThorKCade Would love to pick up the Coke vending machines but unfortunately due to licencing they can sell them in the UK. I'm sure they'll appear on Ebay or something at some point.
Totally agree about the Price point on the Numskulls, disappointing but they have to do what they feel is right
Good rundown, but I have to ask about something that's been on my mind: Is it comfortable having 2 players on one of those Countercades, or is it really awkward? Thinking of getting Turtles, but it seems like the two player might take a bit of tracking down.
On my bubble bobble it’s awkward having 2 side by side. Turtles might be a little better because of the larger deck however you can plug in a USB controller and play that way

Nice, i play a lot of game but stop collecting the extra junk...
I love some of the little collectors stuff that gets released, though price has to be right
