Kisame only lost because plot conveniently stripped Kisame of his sword. Guy's Hidora doesn't make sense. How is it not a chakra based attack when gates is all about generating more chakra??? Chakra would have to fuel the attack to make it strong and at the very least both attacks would stalemate.
Guy would lose to Sasori, Kisame, Hidan, Obito, Itachi, Deidara, Kakazu, and Nagato. The only Akatsuki members guy would realistically beat would be Konan and Zetsu.

@@amarnathcr7335 Dude, Guy would have been finished if he faced Kisame with samehada. Why do you think they conveniently wrote the sword out? Guy had to go to 6th gate just to compete against a 1/3 replica. The 7th gate attack wouldn't have stopped Kisame because he would have been instantly healed. Also, "air pressure" shouldn't be able to beat a chakra powered move like Super Shark bomb jutsu. I also don't buy that it wasn't composed of chakra because the purpose of the 8 gates is to give you an abundance of chakra. Not to mention the technique was in the form of a chakra attack.
Guy would have been finished against Deidara, Sasori, Obito, Madara, Itachi, and Pain.
Not because guy is weak but because the match ups are bad. Guy knows nothing about fighting a puppet master especially the greatest one of all time. One cut and Guy is finished.
Pain and Madara obviously would be the victors.
Obito is at yellow flash speed, izanagi, and can play hide and go seek.
Deidara is one of the worst matchups because like Deidara they are long and mid range fighters. Not to mention that technique that destroys atomic/molecule size matter.
Itachi has too many OP powers and things people don't know about. Looking at Itachi feet isn't going to help him out. Guy was rivals with Kakashi and Kakashi was nothing to Itachi. That tells you everything you need to know. Full power Orochimaru lost to Itachi from one of his base sharingan genjutsu and begged for his life. Literally nobody in the entire leaf village including Sarutobi and Jiraiya, outclassed Orochimaru to that extent with ease.
This is the same Orochimaru that made Kakashi ,who Guy respects, take a shite on himself.
@@seedking40 You can't just say I don't buy to something you don't understand when the show itself showed you how Guy was able to take down Kisame. Search up Mantis shrimp punch (that is the same concept as Hirudora). Guy is so much above the levels of Hidan and Sasori it wouldn't matter about the bad matchups anymore. Kisame would be defeated nevertheless if he had Samehada or not until if at all it was mentioned in the anime. Also yes Guy would've been able to fight Itachi by looking at his legs. It is true that he learned that technique by fighting Kakashi and it is also true that Kakashi didn't hold a candle to Itachi at the time. But the concept of Sharingan doesn't change even if it was for Kakashi or any Uchiha. Itachi just has more mastery over it at that time. Guy's 8th inner gate was holding off Jubbidara who on paper should be able to decimate Guy with just one move but that was not the case in battle. Matchups won't interfere until there is a significant difference in power. Guy is on the level of Pain and Obito. He even went toe to toe against Obito during the war arc in his base form.
Gai’s moves that we see in this episode: Morning Peacock (Asakujaku), Daytime Tiger (Hirudora). He also summoned the tortoise during the Chūnin Exams

Hirudora is not chakra, its a shockwave bomb created from the air using his taijutsu, thats why kisame's jutsu can't absorb it. The "hand sign" at the end isn't a normal hand sign either, its just the shape of a tiger so that he shapes the air to look like a tiger. Asakujaku is also not fire chakra, its fire shockwaves created from punching the air so fast so it creates friction.
Yeah but that makes no sense that air can beat a chakra charged move at that level. At the very least both moves should stalemate. Also what's the purpose of all of that chakra that the gates produce if the chakra doesn't go into the attacks. Taijutsu does use chakra.

@@deanfernandes7604 if you watch it with the english dub you won't notice it try watching it with the japanese dub because in some languages, especially in asia it has polite language which is usually used for foreigners and there is a language used for friends, for example in japanese kisame often uses "Anta/ anata" which is more polite than the "omae" that other characters often use

Let’s just talk about how strong kissme is he was severely weakened and didn’t have his sword and still managed to have guy use all 7 gates
He was in water which means he had ecological advantage and absorbed chakra from Bee who was a tailed beast. Sword wouldn’t mean anything because Guy doesn’t use Chakra based attacks.
I know Kisame was really really strong but I don’t think anyone could even compare with 7 gates guy at that point.(I mentioned “at that point” because later…. yeah… no spoiling lol)

That Tortoise came at the show (OG) way before Guy Sensei. Its the one who stopped Lee because Lee is about to dismantle Sasuke during the exam. The Asa Kujaku was shown on Guy's 2nd fight with Kisame during Kazekage Rescue Arc when he was with his Team at the Sea fighting Kisame.
