Special congratulation for ZanderGoth : concretly if this player had not existed, I would have not pushed my own limits like this during 5 months. It took 5 months to beat a score that he has made in 1 month...AND I was seriously an expert already on the original (but ha was a speedrunner of the original)

Merci ! mais ce record n'est plus à jour maintenant, les gens speedrun sur la version 1.02, c'est très différent de la version 1.0 de cette vidéo.

Merci, mais malheureusement, ce run est "obsolete", car il a été réalisé sur la version 1.0.
Aujourd'hui les runners travaillent sur la dernière version 1.02, et l'enjeu est très différent...Les derniers patches ont changé beaucoup de chose. La majorité des gitches que j'exploite ici ont été corrigé par les patchs.
Ok je vois, c'est bien dommage. As-tu essayé de speedrun sur la version 1.02? Meme si certains glitchs on été patch, tu as toutes tes chances d'être dans le top
C'est prévu ! mais ca demande un investissement soutenu sur plusieurs mois..Et la ce n'est pas trop le moment. J'aimerai changer de boulot, déménager, et je fais à coté une formation sur le codage web pour un projet perso. Un speedrun de ce jeu ca demande des sacrifices sur tout le week end pendant des semaines.
Oui j'imagine que ça demande beaucoup d'investissement et qu'il faut y consacrer pas mal de son temps. J'ai moi même énormément tryhard sur mirror's edge 1 et 2 et sur quelques abandonware. J'adore le speedrun et les time trial! Bonne continuation pour ta formation.

@1:14:00 Seems like a lot of time spent on one chest? I haven't played the new one but the old one had a wheel game to determine if the chest was a trap or a goodie. Is that what he was doing, manipulating it to be a goodie?
There are 2 official way today to speedrun the remake of SoM :
1) ver 1.0 : possibility to duplicate the sword for boy and girl and to upgrade it to the max level (Mana Sword at 1 level higher than what we can normaly do)
2) current patch : most of the few big glitches like the one mentionned before have been removed
What you see here is the world record for the version 1.0 only. In the Fire palace we accept to waste around 3min40 to duplicate the money of the chest in order to upgrade 3 times to the Mana Sword, so we need 6500 + 12500 + 25000 GP for this, and it worth it ! the Mana Sword is much much stronger than the Dragon Buster that we normaly get at the end of the game. We destroy every remaining bosses of the game very quickly with this abused sword. Believe me I have tried a ton of new solution in avoiding these 25.000 GP in the small room of the Fire palace, because most of the lost time is here with the last 25 duplication of the chest.
@@AmnesiaGm1 Ah, so it's a money dup thing? I was wondering about where he was getting his money from. So you open the chest then immediately leave and it doesn't vanish so you can open it again, and wash rinse repeat? Interesting.
@@llloyd4 Yes ! and they actually did not patch this possible chest dup. But the runners of the version 1.03 don't use anymore this money dup in Fire Palace, because they can't dup anymore the sword's orbs. So this extra money is not necessary anymore.
@@AmnesiaGm1 Ouch, so that's why 1.03 is a longer run. 2 hours 30 vs 2 hours 50.
@@llloyd4 no the WR is 2h43, but Dyne has not submitted it. You can find it on youtube, from the same channel of the guy who hold the 2h50 run. In comparison I am running still on v1.0 with a goal at 2h27 (soon I hope).

Hi, at 55:40, I start a long process which will allow me to obtain TWO Mana Sword fully upgraded for the boy and the girl at 1:19:28.
This speedrun was made on the version 1.0 which allows this glitch. There is also now speedrun activities on this game on newer versions without duplicated double mana Sword.

Et non malheureusement. De meme que le phantom cast a été supprimé. Pour effectuer les glitchs qu'on voit dans cette vidéo, il faut arriver à mettre la main sur la version 1.0.
Ca n'a pas trop d'interet aujourd'hui, car meme si ils ont dégagé les glitchs qui permettent de faire ce speedrun en mode bourrin "énergie lunaire-Epée Mana", à coté ils sont tellement amélioré pleins de petites choses qu'il faut mieux se résigner à jouer à la dernière version.
@@AmnesiaGm1 Du coup il n'y a plus aucun glitch permettant de dupliquer des orbs dans un coffre pour obtenir l'épée de mana?
Il semble que non. Et meme si il restait un moyen, l'équipe de dev du jeu sort régulièrement des mise à jour pour supprimer tous les glitch de ce genre. C'est pour ca que je ne touche plus au jeu, j'attend qu'il n'y ai plus aucune mise à jour pour re-travailler dessus lorsque le jeu sera figé.
