Khabib missed weight/pulled out of fights multiple times, no one gave a shit, Romero missed weight vs Rockhold (interim title fight) and still was in the UFC highlights and was even given next title shot after that.
Klein missing weight on a short notice isn't the worst thing that ever happened, the only reason why everybody's bitching about it is because Adesanya and his team were crying.
The fight didn't even go to the ground, and lasted about 2 minutes, so neither conditioning neither weight were an advantage lol

It's crazy that Adesanya has been in the Fighter of the Year conversation every year(2018, 2019, 2020) since making his debut. 9-0(4-0 title fights) with 7 post fight bonuses in less than 3 years is just insane. We've hardly ever seen this level of consistency with this level of activity.

No, it was an excellent stoppage. The first time Cutelaba fought Ankalaev the ref made the shittiest, worst stoppage in the history of the UFC. So this ref probably wanted to make sure there was no controversy.

the thing is its different to tap from choke and from an armbar lets say. even if youre arm is fucked, you can still fight, hence why tony didnt tap recently, or dan hardy didnt tap against gsp. but when ur in a choke, if u dont tap the only thing that changes is ur going to sleep, lose the fight regardless. I personally dont think he would tap if he was in an armbar, but a choke is more of a done deal

I also think Costa knew he’d be running into a wood chipper if he just rushed Izzy from go. It’s very telling that as soon as he started going forward, Izzy finished him.
It's only satisfying if you don't know Costa... He is a humble, kind guy, much better person then Adesanya...

I love izzy, but I'm probably the only person who feels like LHW isn't right for him. He won't fit well there. He should fight some of the new talent at Middleweight, like Buckley (I know he's not the best, but it would still be entertaining), and definitely holland. Like, he should defend his belt a couple more times, maybe have a rematch with gastelum or whittaker, maybe even take on khamzat if he decides to move up from welterweight. I want him to cement a middleweight legacy. I'm afraid that he might lose the LHW match, come back to middleweight, and the division will have moved on without him and he won't be the same.
