    Ojai 1981 - Question #3 from Question & Answer Meeting #2
    'Though attachment is not love, in some mysterious way the two are linked. They seem self-contradictory. Please go into this apparent paradox'
    This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
    The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
    We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
    Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

    In seeing the totality of attachment, there's freedom, and with freedom there is love, and when there is love, you can do what you will ❤

    Attachment is uncertainty!! uncertainty brings fear!!through negating yourself ,an open space is in front of you!! it's the creation of love, tremendous vivid energy of love!!so from uncertainty ,you act with complete certainty!!it's really true!!

      detachment is just an idea brought up by thought which is a movement in another direction. attachment is what is.

    Mature love is not attached because it will allow the object of affection to be who they are regardless of the effect of the lover and giving the freedom for the object of affection to flourish without the presence of the lover

    What is the different between killing an animal for food, and killing a plant for food ??

    • @st911000
      @st911000 Před 8 lety +3

      ***** how do you know that the plant is not suffering? Just because you can't hear a yell, or see discomfort, it doesn't mean that the plant does not suffer in some way.

      st911000 Plants don't have a central nervous system, that's why they do not feel pain. Pain is a warning signal that tells to move away, to avoid harm. Plants can't run away. Already tells you something, doesn't it?

      +jesus son plant has no soul ,nervous and conciousness so they cannot be suffered

    • @GottPito
      @GottPito Před 7 lety +3

      the animal is an individual expression of consciousness that has an own ego and hence can be attacked/hurt at that level of awareness while plants are the consciousness of earth itself which is not dependent on feelings or reflexes, not even on thought rendering it an immutable state to us.
      Or as the left brain puts it: You can kill off the spark of life in an individual being but not in the comprehensive movement (of matter) that is perceived by us as the plant kingdom. (think of how mushrooms work but in a more basic, simple and elegant way)

      When an animal rather than a plant is killed, then the outcome is a dead animal, presumably without plants being affected either way. However, if a plant rather than an animal is killed, then the outcome will be a dead plant, presumably without animals affected either way.
