I saw this short when you uploaded and was just thinking, "Duh!" I was also disappointed you felt the need to share this basic tip. Then, two days ago, I broke a connector while pulling it off a dryer heating element and didn't have the right size replacement. Sometimes you do things right and still get burned. Anyway, thanks for all your informative videos and forums from over the years.
Or…..you can use a medium sized , flat bladed screwdriver ,placed carefully at the base of the spade connector , (then pry up) .Often times , you can use the edge of the control board housing as a fulcrum.😇

How about pushing down on the tiny indentation with a nail or similar to release the "locking part of the connection. It willl slide off easily. .
That connector did not have the locking tab.
