In 1996 Las Vegas imploded the home of the Rat Pack, the Sands Hotel, to make way for the brand new Venetian Hotel. An ambitious project with three new luxury towers eventually to be built, the first tower broke ground for construction in 1997 and our time-lapse camera was there to record it.
