On this fire, Engine 101 B-Shift encountered power lines down with heavy fire that burned into a home. This can be a very dangerous obstacle for our firefighters and our community, especially at night when there’s decreased visibility. High voltage electricity has very little grace, so keep an eye out for those lines, stay away and keep
others away, and call 911 if they’ve dropped. Fortunately our crews were still able to get inside for a search and to attack the attic fire.
