Crews arrived to find heavy fire from a very large stand alone industrial warehouse with a 2nd floor office. Crews initiated fire attack with 250 gallon per minute hose lines from the exterior. The helmet camera footage is from Rescue 21 rapidly checking spaces near exits for victims on the opposite side of the building from the blaze, while giving the Incident Commander (IC) intel from multiple sides of the structure that weren’t visible to the IC. We call this “Getting a 360.” Having intel and visibility about all sides of the structure gives the IC valuable information that could potentially change the priorities, strategy, objectives, and tactics on the incident.
