Episode 7: Football in Anguilla
Football on the Caribbean island of Anguilla never made worldwide headlines.
The small British overseas territory is home to the Anguilla Football Association. The AFA organizes the national teams, the domestic competitions and is a CONCACAF, FIFA and CFU member.
Currently ranked as the second worst member association of FIFA, just San Marino is situated lower than Anguilla, success doesn't get defined purely by results. The AFA is very active in developing the grassroots football and maybe we will se better results in the future.
Even though they never qualified for a World Cup, or even a Gold Cup, Anguilla's football is a thing of beauty!
