nothing changes. i am still single, living off of pre-packaged food and doing nothing but reading and sleeping.
sounds good man
You’d definitely be landlocked, unless you already knew how to sail or operate a boat that was seaworthy. You definitely couldn’t fly anywhere. It’s crazy how I can’t think of stuff I’d want, when there’s no people around. You could be on the most temperate and beautiful island or country, but it would lose its luster pretty quickly, without people to share it with. If we have a good experience of any kind, we automatically think of who’s gonna give you the best response, and share your your same energy. We want someone that’s gonna agree at how amazing, beautiful, shocking, funny, or fun the experience was. Their affirmation allows you to get the dopamine twice, therefore extending the emotion a bit longer.
Just go to Thailand
I’ve thought about this before and that’s why I try appreciate all the small things in life . Like food, water , shelter and family .
Sounds to me like you are both mindful and already awake. And you have been for some time 🤔😊🇬🇧
Its not just to 'impress' other people. We're social creatures, naturally.
Yes and when someone shows up in sweatpants i think they are a bum.
@@user-rd3fx2od3tAnd that's your problem.
Imagine you woke up one day , and you never felt tired again… it’s amazing how much time we waste sleeping, perhaps we could learn something from this thought experiment
lollll
I'm impressed by people's gift's and talents. Not by their wealth or possessions. Any one can have that.
Great theory.... But everyone is still here
Now I love love Darren, but saying this whilst wearing a now discontinued moonphase Rolex Cellini is... well... interesting.
we all for into the trap of thinking that sort of stuff will make us happy, even derren
I went to the same school as Derren. Really interesting and brilliant man. The fact that you've mentioned that he's wearing a Rolex but also that its also discontinued... pretty much counters your own point.
He simply doesn't care that it's not a new watch.
Knowing him he probably just likes the design or taking it apart to see how it works. Nothing deeper than that
My Fantasy world.🌪️
Says my man while wearing a rolex😅
I don’t think wearing a Rolex is the best way to impress people. Most people have absolutely no interest in watches and they can’t really tell what is or isn’t an expensive watch. Not to mention the craftsmanship and design of a nice watch it’s more a hobby for yourself rather than to impress other people in my opinion.
As long as there were Dog's.
Well that’s not even close to the truth, I need people to get my food and do other stuff and that’s why being last human on earth would be pointless. But if hypothetically speaking I’ll have all stuff like water, food, electricity, still working internet and so on I’d find myself a small comfortable apartment with big balcony. Get small family of bunnies and simply rest and catch up on my reading, gaming and movies.
sounds like a good plan
How would you still have internet you big donut
Wow amazing ❤
You wouldn't have to be attention 304 over what bathroom to use
💯💯
This is my dream come true. I would bother with fancy clothes though, I like to see myself pretty in the mirror and I love a luxury environment in my house.
Your dream come true would be to be alone in this world ?
@@jairo5684 yes lol
@@redrumax don’t be silly lol
@@jairo5684 I read Connan Doyle's 'The Poison Belt' when I was little and thought it was amazing that all people were gone and only one was awake and had all the world to himself. I still think that is a wonderful story:). You should read it.
I'd be happy for a few weeks, then I'd join them. I only live to help others, and I would be happy because I'd see the world blooming again after I switched off all the reactors and such which will melt down without people to stop them. Then without any inequality amongst my fellow humans my duty would e over, as would my life.
it isn't a very good analogy. In survival all the things you've mentioned are practically useless. You'd have no people but you would still have predators that would live off the trash left. I'd barricade a good big enough house with good observation and start hunting.
yes, like the movie 🦾
I Am Legend babyyy
It looks like you completely missed the point
@@cathalbutler no, i just believe this analogy isn't any good
This isn't an analogy... It's a thought experiment
The first thing i would do is drink alot of water then hold it in and see how many meters i can pee non stop.
Not wear fancy clothes? Who are you kidding??
Are there atill animals?
This is just example, the other part is what he really meant.
