Bro .....so there's basically no way I can change that nomenclature.... coz I'm a beginner student and I don't think I need all that information

The problem is - were unable to change the visability graphics, for example I want floor plans to have black solid lines. Were unable to do that without the generic wall family. Is there anyway I could reinstall the Generic wall family ?

how do you create new wall type? i want to use a conventional chb w/ plastering wall but it seems like its not available in the current wall types revit has. can you make a video for it?

For anyone else who is wondering. To create a new wall type, you can duplicate an existing one, rename it and create one to however you specifically want. Just make sure you know the dimensions of the thickness in material before creating it. For example BrickVeneer I created 110mm brick-common, 50mm air, 90mm metal-stud.

Do you know how to make the wall graphics appear in Revit?

For anyone else. By default the graphics will appear in Hidden Line or Wireframe. To show the graphics of the wall structure, you can select Realistic. This option in 2024 Revit is found at the bottom left-ish of the HUD. Near the scale you're designing in, you'll see a cube icon. Clicking that will show you a list of graphic options.
