You have to buy a sprite shower head or get our universal filter housing that can hook up to any shower. Like the filter housing connected to the shower in this vid. I work for sprite in charge of filters.
Honestly if someone has hard water not sure how effective it will be since calcium and magnesium are a large cause skin and hair issues.
This one would be focused on removing:
Free Chlorine (Cl-)
Combined Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite)
Hydrogen Sulfide (rotten egg smell)
Iron oxide (rust water)
Dirt, sediment
Odors
…plus, it’s pH balanced!
We would also suggest either a water softener or a whole house filter
@@theshowerheadstore yeah only problem with that is I’m a renter so I’m kinda just out of luck there’s no solutions that I could find that doesn’t require changes a renter can’t do.

Probably not. Just buy a new one.
Do you have to change this filter often?
The cartridge typically last for 1 year. It will need to be flipped around after 6 months of usage.

Does this filter remove fluoride?
It doesn't. You would need a whole house reverse osmosis filter to do this.
Is there a filter that also removes fluoride on top?
Fluoride is a substance that is very difficult to remove. Currently, no shower filter can remove fluoride because of the space that it would take.
There’s only one 3rd party tested shower head filter that has test results showing about 45% of fluoride removal. It was called the Propur Pro max, but I believe the company is now named Pro One.

That is correct! The key thing is to reduce the concentration of chlorine and other substances that damage your hair.
A full elimination of a substance on water would be a gigantic task!
You can use a zero water pitcher jug to filter your bath water if you want zero impurities, but it'll probably take hours to filter enough water for a bath, and it'll definitely bankrupt you 😂
How often do you have to change the water filter
This cartridge last for 1 year. After 6 months you would remove the cartridge from the filter, flip it around and rinse off so you can use the other side.
