I agree 100%. Saw the movie Sunday night and was blown away by the side of abortion we never see. I really recommend this movie because it does not condemn anybody for aborting but instead focuses on moving forward and helping others.

Brucev7 I agree. There's a lot about the movie that was impactful, especially the barrels. I don't condemn people, as it's no one's place but God's to judge, but every time I saw an abortion scene or heard the numbers of how many babies were killed to fill a quota, I kept thinking, "My God... what have you done?" And when Cheryl revealed the mock up of the massive abortion clinic, when I looked at it and knew what would happen in all those rooms, the first thing that came to mind when all those abortionists applauded was, "This must have been how the SS reacted when Auschwitz was unveiled to solve the 'Jewish Problem.'

@@patrioticjustice9040 Judge what? If Abortion is right or wrong? It is our responsibility to judge. And judge righteously as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 7:24 There are too many professed Christians, that just think God is some being, that is sitting up somewhere, just looking down and doing nothing, and expecting nothing. It is long past time for them to get up off their behinds, and do something.
There wasn't anybody in the Bible that got to just sit around. God sent angels, changed circumstances, events, brought people in, to motivate, guide, instrumented weather, His chosen, to carry out His will.

    • @patrioticjustice9040
      @patrioticjustice9040 Před 5 lety +3

Brucev7 We are not commanded to judge any more than a lamb can call itself the shepherd. We are commanded to love Him and obey His commandments. The Bible also talks about wolves in sheeps' clothing. I saw it all the time at my college; Protestants who'd condemn girls based on their clothing and shout it from microphones. All that did was chase people away from God. One attracts more flies with honey than vinegar, as the idiom goes.
Look at Unplanned. You had two kinds of people outside the clinic; you had people in Grim Reaper costumes and a guy shouting condemnation and calling girls whores. And then you had people who responded with love and kindness. Which one got girls to leave the clinic and find God's embrace?
I agree, some people need a serious wakeup call. And I am always prepared to fight for my beliefs. But there are times when you win the war with the sword staying in the scabbard. A lot of people have never heard of God, and if we paint the image of self loathing, judgement and guilt, all that does is convince them that's all there is. And before you know it, you have chased someone away from God's embrace, and made them find faux solace in the shadow of the Devil.
One of the perfect examples of how we cannot judge was spoken by Jesus Himself when the Pharisees brought an adulterous woman before Him, ready to stone her. And Jesus told them, "Whoever among you is without sin, cast the first stone." God judges sin, doesn't matter how much or how little you have, a single sin is worth condemnation. You and I are guilty of sin, same as them. It is not up to us to condemn, it is up to us to help them find grace in His mercy.

It was such a moving story, that brought many of us to tears. The audience clapped at the end. This happened in a suburban town near Cleveland, OH (Middle America). Thank you for taking this part. I want to ask you a serious question and I hope it wont upset you too much. How much do you think a live full term baby is worth? I feel like people are talking about the sales of the baby parts but it hasn't crossed anyone's mind yet that the live baby is worth 100 to 1000 times more than the "body parts"? My feeling is that this is so much deeper than anyone has realized. In the future, when they read about this era in history books, it will be the time before a great awakening. A time when most of Americans were in the dark about the real evil lurking in planned parenthood and the very lucrative unchecked American abortion industry.

Actually, I think it hit him because in his youth he aborted two of babies. He denied it was the reason but deep inside I feel it dug dip into his soul. I too cried throughout the movie and found myself asking God how I can make a difference. Unplanned is a gripping emotional movie which exposes emotions never knew was there. As a post-abortive woman myself of 35 years ago, I must say this is a very powerful, poignant movie about the abortion industry. It's also very emotional but something that NEEDS to be well-exposed. Bring Kleenex. Offer to pay for a pro-choice friend to come along. Be prepared to share the gospel. It is the POWER of God unto salvation. It is through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone that will cover and forgive all of your sins.
Romans 3:23... we ALL fall short of the glory (perfection) of God. Our sins separate us from God.
Our sins are earning us a debt that we cannot pay, but He, Jesus, paid a debt He did not owe. Romans 6:23... For the WAGES of SIN is DEATH, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord!
Ephesians 2:8-9... It is by GRACE (unmerited favor... you cannot earn it) you are saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves; it (salvation) is the GIFT of God, NOT of WORKS, lest anyone should boast.
He will set you free. And He who the Son sets free is free INDEED!
Ephesians 2:10 says we are saved unto good works that we SHOULD WALK IN THEM. So, tell others the good news of the gospel so they, too, may have eternal life in Christ Jesus. Pray for them. Be the shoulder to cry on. Love them as Christ loves them. Do not condemn them. For God so LOVED the WORLD that He GAVE His only Begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe in Him will NOT perish but HAVE (possess) everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17).

Amen to that. I am also a woman who had a 1st trimester abortion, and I have a a pro-life friend that I would never invite to this film. A friend who also had an abortion. My friend would never admit now that abortion might be wrong, or a mistake, or the result of irresponsible sex. Noo no. because that would be too self-incriminating. We are both almost 50. We don't talk much anymore because she is a brainwashed liberal. Unfortunately if we did talk about abortion, I am certain that I would resort to a very deep but hurtful observation: Since she has no children, then she cant see it as clearly as I can, as a mother. Ouch. Loving your cat is not the same as loving your child. Dont get me wrong. I LOVE MY CAT.. way too much. But it does not compare to the way I feel about my children. My dear old friend well to do with cats and a husband who works for google. They think Christianity is a joke. Letting go of old friends is hard but the respect between friends was lost somewhere in the 2016 election. My faith in God goes deeper than my love for these cherished friends. They are batting for the wrong team. Late term abortion will be federally banned in America. Its only a matter of when.

It's not every day I would choose to go see a movie that I know would make me cry. Even before seeing this, I made it clear that if I got a girl pregnant (the plan is for after marriage and when we know we have enough to take care of a family) but if there was a slip up, I'd never encourage an abortion. I would be there as a husband and a father.
These people who are so ready to tell a baby, "You do not have the right to live," who do not hesitate to attack women and male pro-lifers in the streets, these people could never understand how life is a gift. How each breath of air, how each beat of a heart, is not to be taken for granted. Who are we to tell someone, "You do not have the right to be born," when we could have been in such a position ourselves? It takes a heartless monster to murder a child, inside or outside the womb.
I thank God for everyone who is ready to stand up for a child's right to live.

The scene where the family members were begging the woman to not go through with the abortion was powerful too. These children are not just the womans. It's easy to rag on Christian films. In many cases: sub par acting, predictable plots, preaching to the choir, and unrealistic scenarios. Aside from that, Unplanned does a very good job in not sugar coating the grim reality that abortion is, but also that there is redemption and forgiveness. Good work Robia and cast.

News Update: Estimates for this weekend's Box Office showed Unplanned exceeding predictions with a box office total of $3.2 Million during its second weekend of release. While Unplanned finished in the Top Ten over the weekend at #8, the Pro-Life movie spiked up to #7 at the Box Office on Sunday. A review of the leading entertainment news websites demonstrated the continued discriminatory pro-abortion-influenced blackout and blacklisting of UnPlanned. UnPlanned was not mentioned in any of the primary reviews of box office results for this weekend on either Box Office Mojo or Variety. This does not lesson the profound impact that Unplanned is having at movie theaters or among the choices moviegoers were making during the weekend. Unplanned has now accumulated a box office total of $12,467,510 during its initial 10 day run in movies theaters. The nearly $12.5 Million box office total doubles the Production budget of $6 Million for Unplanned. It also places Unplanned at #6 all time for movies produced by Pure Flix, the Christ-based movie production company that has revolutionized the introduction of a steady stream of Christian movies for American moviegoers who desire a more family-friendly and pro-Biblical experience when they are choosing the movies and theaters they spend their money on. www.boxofficemojo.com/studio/chart/?studio=pureflix.htm

Unplanned continues its strong showing at the box office as it heads into its second weekend of release. Box office receipts for Friday April 5, 2019, the 8th day of its release, place Unplanned at #8 nationwide. Now showing on an expanded 1,516 theater screens across America, Unplanned pulled in another $1,040,000 at the box office with a strong per theater average of $656, bringing the total in box office receipts to $10,307,510 which far surpasses the negative expectations for the pro-life movie that the abortion lobby and its media partners predicted during their all out pre-release war to block Unplanned from being shown or advertised in most major media outlets. Comparing Unplanned's stellar showing at the box office thus far with the recently released pro-abortion propaganda documentary RBG which attempted to sell the life and career of rabidly pro-abortion Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a champion of liberty and women's rights, it is abundantly clear that Americans' pocketbooks are choosing a Pro-Life message over that of abortion industry dogma. While RBG received Oscar nominations and idolatrous worship across the same secular media platforms that have vigorously tried to blacklist and boycott Unplanned, Americans are using their feet and their dollars to tell the media and the movie industry that the days of selling to America an unchallenged pro-abortion message without consequences are over. After 8 days of box office ticket sales, RBG had only accumulated a total of $702,044 compared to Unplanned's 8 day total of $10,040,000. It took RBG 45 days to earn $10 Million in box office receipts and that was only done with the assistance of every major liberal newspaper, magazine and tv news channel promoting it as some sort of "glorious and heroic" masterpiece. While the pro-abortion lobby which controls the Academy Awards made sure RBG received two Oscar nominations for Best Documentary and Best Original Song, Americans can expect Unplanned to be treated by the Academy Awards with the same contempt that it showed towards Mel Gibson's masterpiece The Passion of The Christ. However, at the end of the day it is neither money nor awards which matter. What truly matters is how many lives are saved from the for-profit abortion mills of Planned Parenthood. Like Nazi Germany's concentration camps during World War II, America has already seen an entire generation of human babies of all races and genders wiped from the face of the earth in the abortion mills of Planned Parenthood. Unplanned is a banner being courageously waved in the air by those who are desperately racing to save as many human lives as possible from Planned Parenthood. I am making my stand in this generation! Are you?

Actor Eduardo Verastegui was an actor and singer too after his conversion lefy everything behind, but after some spiritual advices he started directing and acting only good things. If you have the talent of acting you should quit doing it the bad way and start glorifying God by acting hust like this movie.
