i'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with my first baby and it was not planned. i'll admit, the stress and uncertainty of having an unplanned pregnancy can most certainly cause your mind to wonder about how much easier your circumstances would be if you just get an abortion. however, after seeing my baby move around during an ultrasound and hearing his or hers heartbeat, i don't understand how anyone can go through with an abortion knowing there's life in the womb. pregnancy is just absolutely fascinating and a miracle from God. it really should not be taken for granted.

There is also a lot of mental illness, guilt, depression, and profound regret by women after having abortions that last a lifetime. You cannot take a human life out of the world without knowing what you did. There's no fooling yourself about that. And you cannot run from yourself, no more than you can run from your own shadow.

There are many reported cases of children who were declared dead and revived and reported to their family that they met someone claiming to be ther sister or brother in heaven. The mothers of these children had had abortions as the mother later reported.

In the late 70's and early 80s's while at York University, I founded the York University Right to Life Association. We had a table set up at lunchtime in the Ross Building near Central Square and students, young men and women came by to pick up the pamphlets and ask questions. Everyone was civil. Only on one occasion did a literally hysterical woman come up and start freaking out and flipped over the table on us. I suspect she was either mentally ill and our presence triggered some latent guilt. I had the famous Time magagazine article with the photos of the developing fetus at different stages including the famous one showing it sucking its thumb inside the womb. All stages of development were shown, when the fingers and toes were seen, when the heartbeat first started, and so forth. Seeing is believing. It is easy to talk in the abstract, but when you see that little thing, called a fetus, with translucent skin, inside a womb, there is no mistake that it is a small human and deserves protection. A lot of people have just jumped on the bandwagon with this Pro choice thing and anti abortion rhetoric. Seems like there is a tidal wave now in the media sweeiping over the still many of us who rightly believe the fetus is a human and abortion is absolutely wrong, morally, and according to many religious codes. It is evil to kill an unborn child. How could it not be. If you were to stab a pregnant woman to death, or assault a pregnant woman, you'd receive a higher sentence - that is clear, as I was a criminal lawyer. So how can we have it both ways?

The Abortion "Movement" AKA " Pro Choice" is propelled by "positive branding language" and linked to "Women's Rights" because it gives it a more positive spin and emotional appeal. It also sets up the argument politically that if you are against Pro Choice, you are against women's rights. But this is a complete fallacy. In the late 60''s /early 70's the term "right to life" began to be used by opponents of legal abortion and this evolved into "Pro-Life". The term Pro-Choice (or "right to choose") was coined in response by abortion rights advocates shortly after.

Abortion is just plain Evil and murder of a human life. A fetus is not a form of animal or plant life, not an organ, not a cyst or a tumor, it is a separtely distinct, completely human, albeit immature, with separate DNA from the mother. It is dependant on the mother to nuture it ans support it while it develops, even more so than when it is outside the womb. Does the fact that the fetus is within the womb make it any less human? Does the fact that the fetus is inside the woman suddenly give the mother the right to kill that fetus? There was a time, not very long ago when we all called the "fetus" the unborn child. Yes. That's right. There was a time, even before that, and still in parts of the world it goes on, where women are considered the property of their men, and some cultures believe that their husbands or fathers have the right to do what they want with these women. That does not make it right either. Remember the old story of the people in the lifeboat that will sink unless someone is forced out of the boat. That is one of those early philosophy course quesetions... who has the right to live and who has the right to die or to force someone to die. No one has a greater right to choose someone has to die.

I consider myself a dynamic pro life soldier and here's how I consider myself a pro life soldier. 1. I'm a Catholic Christian. 2. I'm a active Knight of Columbus. 3. I'm a registered anti abortion Democrat. Now some people say that no one can be a Democrat and be anti abortion. But in reality, there's some Democrats that are anti abortion such as Terissa Bukovinac who's planning on running for President in this year's election and I plan on voting for her. And here's another thing, not every Republican is anti abortion. Because some of them are pro abortion such as former governor of CT Jodi Rell and even former governor of Massachusetts Bill Weld and Charlie Baker.

I just don't get why many Christians talk about adoption as an option to abort, but they're against gay marriages adoption. I understand it's not the same. But shouldn't you let a loving family take care of a baby who otherwise would been aborted. Like, what's so wrong about love? Abortion is not love, adoption and family are.

If you chose to have your kid then good for you. But to restrict a persons choice to bodily autonomy because you thought this was all real and not some propaganda made for pro life (even though these same people would likely throw you under the bus and never want to fund things like adopting services) shows it was never about the clump of cells.

I have lost a child at 20 weeks prior to Dobbs and i cant imagine going through it now as unsafe as pregnancy now is. Its terrifying. Haven't seen it yet and don't plan on it anytime soon. Because of my TBI and other health issues doctors tried to talk my parents into having an abortion but they said no! I will be 40 in a few days!

❤ in my country it's pure pro life so women here do secret DIY illegal pills or do herbal.. I got pregnant second time I had a trauma on my first session. My maid brought me to a local hilot massage. Something was so hard on my uterus when she massaged it I felt it cling to life so hard then the woman told me I need maybe come back to her for 10 sessions the successful abort I couldn't stomach it. I even tried to suicide. This after all failed contraceptive. Now it's kicking aggressively than my first daughter.
