The relationship between this team fills my heart with such happiness ❤️
Spartan: total warrior for the ps2
YESSSSS. Awesome game
OH MY GOD YES!! I miss this game so much
Agree
4:24 I was thinking of visera cleanup detail.
Aldous Betana same
So was I, but there is also Serial Cleaner and Dustforce.
One that I have yet to find anyone else irl that has even heard of it is *Alice:Madness Returns* . There's currently a Kickstarter for the 3rd one going on. It was in my top 3 games of last get.
KH3player that game is dope
Both it and American McGee's Alice are solid middle shelf games in my opinion but worth playing for the aesthetic alone.
Rage (1): it was actually a quite relaxing game and just a fun all-around shooter. I loved that game.
It's so underrated
Lone Wanderer yep meanwhile Rage 2 I haven’t even touched yet (because I’m waiting on a Steam sale)
Just pointing out that you actually said you did it relaxing to rage. In all honesty though having only played co-op on the first one I enjoyed the game
The first rage is so good! I want to play rage 2 but it has that same kind of doom engine and I love the uniqueness of the original
Ewan, I was part of the QA team at Luxoflux for Revenge of the Fallen and I remember everyone on the team was so excited when we had the single player pretty much locked down and got to spend most of our days testing the multiplayer. Towards the end once we had put in dozens and dozens of hours into it, we had some pretty epic matches! Going online with them and absolutely destroying people once the game was released was so satisfying!
Mad max. It's actually really good
TheRagingRussian playing it now and it’s great, with an amazing environment and strong sound design, but let down by some terrible control and general game design decisions.
@@dorbid yeah it's not perfect but it's a good time killer
TheRagingRussian agreed and would love a sequel
Jonny G There is one. It’s called Rage 2.
Agreed
Sequel would be cool
Just LOVE the Treasure planet movie..incredible animation an just worth watching from beginning to end
Worth watching once a month
Every time I find it it's on. was so sad when I mistook the mulan screenshot for treasure planet just to find out the truth
Matrix the path of Neo.
also keep in mind the game is kind of a glitch fest.
I loved Buffy back in the day. The theme song for it was the best TV theme song ever!
Sad...very sad
But angel had a better theme song...
All the 3rd person games made by The Collective were great.
Yes!!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that loved Transformers ROTF multiplayer!!
Still own it on 360 never played online. Just skipped cutscenes and made single player mostly enjoyable
The bards tale is AAAAMAZING. I loved it. Bought it cheap years ago on ps2 and it was a huge surprise in how fun it was. Also his dog is awesome especially if you level it up.
Jules playing football manager whilst making sexual references about his players mothers.... I'd watch that 😂 😂
My recommendation.. 🤔
Rugrats: search for Reptar ps1
No... Stop... You stop that right now.... You're only recommending it to pass on the curse to a new host.
So, basically Depth is like an underwater Team Fortress 2 . . .
. . .
. . .
*BUT WITH SHAAAKS!!*
Tales from the Borderlands. Criminally underrated
Lost in the dull mess that was Telltale's output sadly. It's going to be removed from storefronts soon too.
Truth
Binary Domain. It's Japanese Gears of War with robots instead of Locusts and with Anime charm.
Also the dismemberment was kinda cool
@@AchiragChiragg it was. Blow off the legs and you got crawling terminators. Blow off their shooting arm they'll try to retrieve the gun or adjust tactics.
Might load it up later on.
The dismemberment makes it more Dead Space imo
@@ShenDoodles but it was a cover shooter like GoW. Unlike the Dead space games
@@sgtsnokeem1139 talking of which. Vanquish was a pretty good game too. And released roughly around the same time
Spongebob squarepants battle for bikini bottom. Don’t worry if you didn’t have a childhood, the remaster is coming out next year and it’s one of the greatest 3D platformers of all time
Mishpãré Urśhjìlk it isn’t a remaster it’s a full on remake bro
@@jeremyroberts8822 Tomato tomato
Mishpãré Urśhjìlk they are 2 completely different things man
@@jeremyroberts8822 I know but it isn't worth starting a war over
Mishpãré Urśhjìlk lol no ones starting a war I was just lettin ya know
I got all the trophies for Hatoful Boyfriend. Like it’s weird and you’re like “wow it’s weird”, then there’s a point where it vamps up insanely high with the weirdness and you can’t stop because now you have to know what the hell is going on. Other weird games I’ve played are Chulip, Mister Mosquito, and Amazing Island.
Vicar: Repeat after me
Scott: Iscottyakethiswomantobemylawfulweddedwifethroughsicknessandhealthuntildeathpartsus
Vicar:..........I Scott,
I love watching these videos! Unfortunately they keep me on the toilet for an extra half hour or so
First Arin from Game Grumps mentions Gitaroo Man as his favorite rhythm action game, now Jules bringing up how underloved it is. Makes my heart happy to hear other people even know this gem exists
Pirates of the Caribbean for original xbox, the game was also know as Sea dogs 2. Also the N64 version of Sarges heros 2.
Victor Montes YES! Pirates of the Caribbean was brilliant, spent for too long on that game, planing out the profitable trade routes and pretty much earning my own fleet!!
Can someone confirm/deny if Rach's tee is a very stylish Companion Cube, and where I can get one?
We need more content like this watching the guys laugh and joke around it makes me really happy
Destroy All Humans Or Godzilla King of Monsters for The original (Xbx)
E3 has some good news for you then
Chex Quest haha
The 90s remembers
Transformers the Game Wii/PS3/360
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen PS3/360 (Stay away from the wii and ps2 version)
Transformers War for Cybertron PS3/360 (Stay away from Wii version called Cybertron Adventures)
Transformers Fall of Cybertron PS3/360
The first two are based on the Michael Bay movies and the other two are their own story showing the battle beetween Autobots and Decepticon on Cybertron.
These games are actually really good, sure they can be repetitive on long plays but overall it's a good time
The Mummy Demastered is a great game. The movie was complete crap.
YES MATE!!! :D
Hell yes!!!
Add another minus to that awful movie: its awfulness ruined the commercial potential of an excellent tie-in game.
Same with Green lantern rise of the manhunters
GITAROO MAN!!! Jules, you and I would've been best friends in school!
Thousand Arms for the PS1. It’s a jrpg and a dating sim rolled into one. Meis, the main character, had to raise his spirit powers to forge stronger equipment, and he does that by dating the various female characters. It’s so fun and charming, and damn I wish I could play it again.
It can't be played anymore but I told everyone I knew to play WILDSTAR.
As soon as I mentioned the word 'MMO' all interest was lost but it was amazing! The classes, animation, music, story and the voice acting! Oh my days child the humour in that game came out perfectly through those actors. 10/10 would space again.
Proud owner of Gitaroo Man. King Bee and the ballad are the best levels imho
I loved Treasure Planet on the PS1.
My recommendation would have to be Hercules PS1. That was such a great game to grow up playing!
Yep. Strangely satisfying when i beat that game. Good platforming action.
X Men origins Wolverine
It's based on the worst Marvel movie Ever but the game was so freaking fun
And a game that doesn't get enough recognition is an amazing PS2 star Wars game that even I can't remember it's freaking name because I owned it but it was not from a shop it was broken version but it was so good like Battlefront without the pay walls it had numerous battles to choose from and numerous soldiers with different skills and weapons and you would also occasionally find Jedi and Sith and they were almost undefeated it was just so good
A lot of people probably may not remember it, but I think the game recommendation that no one would believe me in, is Anticipation. It's like.. Trivial Pursuit, but it involves connecting the dots and guessing what it is. I truly loved this game to pieces, There really was a lot of stuff that either gave you an advantage or not. And you could play it with others. If either of you have the old NES system, do give this one a try. I guarantee that even today, it's still fun and difficult.
shadowrun, a game for windows live on xbox 360. great team based cartoony version of Socom... ok maybe a huge hyperbole but I still loved it......... you can proceed to kill me now
14:16 Ohhhh Gitaroo Man 😂 😂 😂 Jules that absolutely killed me 😂 😂 😂
I’m one of the people who worked on mummy. Glad you liked it! Forwarded this to the rest of the team. :)
Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire for me. Picked it up in a bargain bin for $15, and played it through multiple times. Sure the graphics were sub par even for a launch title, but it was a great mecha simulator with tons of customization. That and Folklore.
Syndicate 2012. The singleplayer campaign has some decent acting but little else going for it.
The cooperative mode, on the other hand, is one of the best and most of addictive of last gen, and absolutely deserves your attention. The basic structure was similar to Left 4 Dead - choose a campaign and play through the levels by yourself or with up to three others - but it offered tons of strategy and challenge thanks to solid enemy variety, a huge variety of weapons and abilities to customize your playstyle with, and truly rewarding gameplay that ensured every player earned plenty of experience whether they were focused on combat or support roles. It was also one of the last games I can remember from EA that didn't try to milk me with DLC.
Michael Jackson's moonwalker a bit old school but still a good retro game regardless of the leaving neverland movie controversy
Naughty Bear.
It gets repetitive after awhile, but brutally murdering other Teddy bears that shunned you, and seeing their stuffing come out, is absolutely hysterical.
The one that comes to mind for me was Kung Fu Chaos on the original Xbox. Most anyone I originally pitched it to thought it just looked stupid and cheap, but in reality, they'd have a blast with it and to this day however many years since it came out some family members and I bring it out to play it. It's a party game where you re-create various cheap 90's action Kung Fu movies through your actions and the mini-games. Immensely fun. Examples: You could have a Luchador (Captain Won Ton), a Monkey God, a diva with a shotgun (Lucy Cannon) and a Ninja (Ninja Fu Hiya... wait for it, you'll get it...) fight on the Titanic as the ship is sinking around you and you utilize environmental weapons such as a piano sliding off the map or life preservers to beat up your rival players. Mario Party with absurd over-the-top ninja action. It was fantastic, if a bit too raunchy with the Director character.
Tron:evolution absolutely loved the multiplayer and even had a good time with the single player
G-Force on Xbox 360. It plays somewhat similarly to a Gears of War/Ratchet and Clank type game but with guinea pig spies, and is challenging at parts for a kid's game.
Monster Rancher 3 has a really cool feature of reading other discs you insert into the PS2 to generate random monsters for the game. Monster Rancher 4 gave you the option to combine monsters together into more unique ones, but I like MR3 a little bit better as it is more of a charming game.
Cartoon Network Punchtime Xplosion XL is a Smash Bros clone with Cartoon Network characters. The controls were clunky, the voice acting, or lackthereof, is abysmal, but the game itself is pretty fun and has a cool concept that could've been improved upon if they had made a sequel.
DefJam: Fight for New York for the ps2 and xbox. Best fighting game of the generation, once you get past the very dated cast.
I wish my dad was this awesome.
madagascar on the ps2...
YES
Josh sits on Jules lap ,i die laughing, bit ends i hit like button. Comedy is as comedy does.
Dear Ewan,
I can't thank you enough for spreading the love for the Transformers Cybertron games. They were legitimately awesome and probably once a week I hope for somebody to make more like them.
PS2 NHL Hitz 2002-2003 by Midway was the epiphany of 3v3 arcade hockey games. Basically NBA Jam on ice. But they tanked the franchise the following year with NHL Hitz Pro which was less arcade and more hockey with a larger rink and 6v6 but it wasn't nearly half as fun.
Armed and Dangerous for the original Xbox. To this day one of if not the funniest games I’ve ever played. Can not recommend it enough
Definitely would buy remastered game.. Land shark gun in HD :)
Conan for the Xbox 360. I remember thinking it was wild that you could use different weapons in each hand and the combination actually changed the attack animation.
That title screen of Gitaroo Man just reminded me of another game. I wonder if any of the WhatCulture crew has played Incredible Crisis on PS1.
Okay, I know nobody asked for this but I gotta get it off my chest. I’d recommend the Thor movie Tie-in game for the DS. It was made by Sega for a bunch of different consoles, but because the DS is so different from something like the Xbox 360, they had to COMPLETELY change the game. While the other versions were 3rd person beat-em-ups, the DS one was a side scrolling beat-em-up platformer. The combat stands out the most, it’s so fluid and energetic and imaginative.
I can always count on you all for a good laughs and interesting conversations
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.. Hands down one of the most loveable games.. People gripe about the voice acting but I found it humorous and felt infinitely rewarded every time Tepeu and Taotl's friendship level rose
Def Jam: Fight for New York. As a pasty white guy who is not gangster in the slightest, and as somebody who literally did not know any of the characters in that game, I was not expecting it to become my favorite fighter of all time. Its gameplay is amazing, you create your own character, you can customize everything about that character (for those who know the game, I will simply say "hey yo that's big dawg style right there"), it has an actual story that's actually decent, no content-gating whatsoever, no focus on online at all, couch co-op, it's gloriously silly and over-the-top, and it genuinely makes me sad that the franchise went off the rails with the next entry and since then does not look like it will ever get remastered. Seriously - they need a remaster of Vendetta and Fight for NY.
Scott wearing a Ghost 👻 T-shirt love that band man!!
I was about to comment the same thing!
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. Go buy it and thank me later
Guy who sells crack to school kids while he is in school, and then becomes one of the 10 worst rappers of all time. And has a game made after him. No thank you.
David Duncan lmfao what
David Duncan Mate who do u listen to rap wise? He’s an incredibly gifted rapper
Lol game was actually fun back in the day
1:05 That _"little indie Studio"_ is releasing *River City Girls* soon, and will probably become super POPULAR as a result *:)*
That intro has to be the best bit ever on these channels...
Hybrid Heaven on the N64. The story is confusing as hell. But you are trying to escape a lab where mutant have been released. The combat is turn based fighting game and works well. The platforming is classic early 3D controls but the fighting is so good even today.
Primal on PS2. That game was bloody fantastic. The acting in the cutscene was hilariously cheesy, the graphics were pretty nice, and the gameplay was solid.
Anyone who want to play can find the original game easily for dirt cheap. Plus it's digital on PS Store for the PS3 and maybe even for the PS4.
This is my favorite series of all time. Can’t wait to watch the newest one
Best thing about Mummy Demastered is that if you die, you have to fight your zombie to get your gear back. Excellent.
Josh with chaos bleeds. Hell yes. One of my all time favourite games because I’m a Buffy fan for life!!!
Tokyo Jungle was so good. Co-op on it was amazing!
4:30 I thought for sure he was gonna say Viscera Cleanup Detail
The moment he explained the game "Depth", I'm sold
Love how much Oasley says "it's bloody brilliant."
Ultimate muscle legends vs new generation for GameCube was a blast with 4 players
Omg the Treasure Planet game was my jam as a kid I loved it xD
I always wanted to play the Buffy video games, but I was (and still kind of am) one of those people who gets a system way late in it's cycle so by the time I had the ability to play them, they were super impossible to find.
YES JOSH Buffy Chaos Bleeds was epic. I know the first game had all the actors bar SMG. I thought this did too.
Loved both of them.
Ash, what video are ya chatting about the bard's tale in? I love that game. Low key one of the greatest games ever. Feck, I need to go see if I can get that game again.
The Beer song from Bards tale still plays in my head today
Mad Max and Max Payne 3 to name two more well known titles, and Teslagrad for one that is an under-the-radar gem of a game.
Seriously, Teslagrad is one of the best side-scrolling platformer-puzzlers on PS4. Great mechanics, intuitive learning curve, gorgeous graphics and a decent narrative.
House Flipper and Tokyo Jungle I had played before this video so hyped to see Im not alone
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West - a criminally overlooked game that was amazing.
The fashion games Nintendo makes for the 3DS. Got it for my daughter, and I ended up addicted to it.
The solar surfer clips gave me so much nostalgia from my PS1.
I love you guys! I can believe everyone's love for gaming on this channel, too, unlike some of those ones that are boring top 10 type of channels. I won't call any of them out, but I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about! Thank you for all you do!
CASTLEVANIA ARIA OF SORROW. So many powers/weapons that you can get in that game. Cool story and bosses.
Anyone remember "bloodlines" for the ps1 ? got the demo in a magazine once. Fucking loved it, but never found it anywhere afterwards. I wonder if it was actually any good or If hadnt developed taste yet.
3:50 Oh GOD I LOVE THIS GAME!!! I MADE IT to the top survival as a Pomeranian and had the samurai dog as an ally and its an amazing story!!!!
Jules just has a bromance with every man in the office doesn't he?
Thanks for reminding me how fun Depth was!
Gex 2 enter the gecko or gex 3 deepcover gecko. Most haven’t even heard of the series, but before we had conker’s bad fur day, we had gex, did the same as conker did with 4th wall breaks and pop culture references. I tried playing the original but just cannot but the 2 and 3 games were fantastic. Can be found for n64, ps1, or PS3 (store like most ps1 games)
I loved the treasure planet FOR the GAME CUBE!
Josh was jazzed right up after all that blood loss
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age PS2. Final fantasy style game, playing as a ripoff version of an alternative Fellowship that are following alongside the actual fellowship's journey - 'secretly' helping out, protecting them and making sure they are successful.
Tokyo Jungle! I loved that game and wish they'd bring it to PC. So quarky and fun~
Absolutely loving The Mummy: Demastered OST. It's like if Lorn came out in the 90's
The Mummy Demastered is amazing. One of the few PSN games I stuck with till the end.
O Jules I can all way count on you for crazy, fun, emotional, and character building game. You sold me on this one. Dont change you beautiful beast.
I weirdly enjoyed Alone In The Dark on the GBA... Kept me going for weeks.
There was a demolition derby game where you could shoot chickens at each other. Ridiculously fun. I can't remember the name tho.
Tokyo Jungle is quite fun. It’s on PS Now if you wanna give it a go.
