Maomi basically, Gabbie promoted these makeup brushes on her Instagram stories that were priced from $80 down to nothing were you had to pay for $10 shipping and said they were high quality luxury brushes.
Turns out they were just cheap brushes that were bought off Ali Express/Wish etc and sent off to whoever bought them. Some people didn’t even get their orders.
Gabbie then comes out with a video using them, stating that the brushes felt nice but were not high quality or $80 worth (like she stated) and told her viewers to ‘manage their expectations’ even though she promoted these ‘high quality brushes’ in the first place. She also said she did _extensive research_ on Kenza Cosmetics before promoting them which she clearly did not.
Long story short - she promoted a scam, got the money off people who used the link in her Instagram stories and when she was called out on it she tried to gaslight her followers.

Can we talk about how a 28 year old woman was "venting" to a 15 YEAR OLD FAN????
Apparently, she can't find any other 28-year-olds to vent to because most 28s are too busy living their lives. I liken it to when a dude is in his 20s and can only get teen girls to date him... [the teen girls think they are soooo grown up because they are dating a 20-something, but in reality, he doesn't have the skills, or anything to offer women his own age]. It's pathetic, really. I came across a teen who was 'dating' a 20-something, and I sat down with her and asked her a very simple question --When she got to be 26, would she want to date a 15 year older? She immediately said "Nooooo, grossss!!... " and then the look of realization washed over her face... It was a complete eye-opener to her. Then I had to explain to her that the reason this guy was dating her was that he couldn't get women his own age. She got it immediately. I think the same may apply here.

While Spill was reading her public "apology" I almost felt sorry for her and then I realized how she was putting herself as the victim in order to gain sympathy while shamelessly justifying all of her actions. The issue is that plea deals generally hinge on the fact that both parties want to avoid a trial for whatever reason. Generally speaking it’s a “any punishment is better than nothing” when you get to the barest bones. Trials can take weeks or even years and may have prolonged Jessi’s trauma stemming from her assault.
