"Meghan Had To Learn To Be Black!" Sir Trevor Phillips On Racism In The UK

  • Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by broadcaster and former politician Sir Trevor Phillips, TalkTV contributor and family lawyer Paula Rhone-Adrien and TalkTV host Richard Tice to discuss whether the UK is racist and if there is some legitimacy to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's claims that the Royal Family and the UK's media are racist.
Trevor believes that the UK is no longer a racist place and suggests that anyone that believes it is should ask their parents or grandparents what the country was like 30+ years ago. Trevor also adds that studies have shown that comparatively, the UK is a better place to live than the rest of Europe and America for ethnic minorities.
Piers then brings up Meghan's past claims of racism within the Royal Family as well as the media. Trevor explains that he felt sorry her as she had previously said that she never had seen herself as black due to being mixed race. Trevor then suggests Meghan had to "learn how to be black on the job" working within a white-dominated institution and offers this as a possible explanation as to why she may have felt the way she did.

Unfortunately, M doesn't think like most decent UK types - who hate r•••sm with a passion🫣💜 - she thinks like the (46 year old/1980s) rich gurl LA pseudo "Princess" that she has always
been😶😌 She is extremely dismissive❗️ of anybody "Not WP"🤨💜(what's that about??😶💜) & can get very unnecessary!
(We remember her behaviour at Skippy's Wedding in Jamaica🇯🇲💜) - & how she went off at the Jamaican Waiter - several times, speaking to him in the worst way (it was unbelievable!) until the 4th time her "drinks order" "wasn't as she wanted it"🤨💜 (& he did nothing wrong!) she was just drunk & behaving like the LA pseudo "princess" she thinks she is🫣💜 (quite a while pre Wedding to H even) - & then she completely lost it the 4th time she had a pop at him (many tequilas in!) - & the swear-y rant she came out with😡😡 (including the kind of r•c••l slurs we've never heard here!😶💜) made everybody turn around & stare - it was the talk of the Home Counties for quite a while💜💜 - bc that kind of thing is just wrong, wrong wrong (- & we don't see that in The UK!) & it always shocks us Overseas if anybody is that way - but M was a 1980s kid - & in the U S those attitudes hv never gone away🤨💜 (& espc in places like LA - in particular!🫣💜 & Texas etc etc) her attitudes are Nothing to do with this UK💜💜& the 56 Country Commonwealth💜💜 (& then when she went on that Commonwealth mini Royal Tour - she similarly was extremely rude + had no respect for the ppl if Fiji🫣💜 (it was appalling!) & one of the women meant to do the meet & greet was in tears bc M had ignored her speaking repeatedly, refused to make eye contact (!) & stuck her silly beak high in the air🫣💜 - & then at one point it was obvious that M was "smirking":& barely managing to not start laughing🤨💜) & the Royal Staff were furious! (espc bc some were in tears bc she had been so rude & so obviously prejudiced😡😡) - & when the late Queen found out she was v upset (& v angry) She thanked & commended all the staff for trying to speak to the ppl M had upset - & doing their best in the face of M's unpleasant behaviour (& R word antics!) - & then she sent Prince Wm to each Country one by one to apologise💜💜 - but the basic facts are that M is Not An Activist nor what she pretends❗️ to be❗️ - & she doesn't see herself as p.o.c - & has No intention of being around those who are🤨💜 - she's somebody who wants❗️ to be part of the U S Elite❗️ - & will do anything to get there.
(& there was no way she was going to Open Hospital Wings or talk to cranky over 75s in care homes on rainy Mondays) - she made a run back to LA as soon as she realised it would be that 90% of the time on "visits" (& not "all glamorous" - as Prcs Diana used to do - it can be quire boring sometimes but PD did it all + much charity work - without question)
Unfortunately M is extremely spoiled, entitled, lazy, workshy❗️ & her attitudes belong back in the U S hundreds of years ago.
When you see her "accepting" (paid for) "Awards" for "fighting r••••sm" - it is literally ridiculous - but the truth will out💜💜 - the jig is up (she's the only one who doesn't know it - apparently)

as a black migrant from nigeria who lives in england. i wanna just tell my story :) my whole 17 years of living here, i have only met 1 ACTUALLY racist person. and i’m not even sure if he was racist tbh. but no. my parents have degrees (accountancy and law) and businesses in england and nigeria. due to their hard work, we live in a very privileged area in england. you will still see ethnicities around here though living in peace. my bestie has a black dad and her mum is white too lol. my neighbours are sweet and welcoming. i work hard in school, all my white teachers are extremely supportive. my boyfriend is white and he’s always made sure i feel comfortable. my sister is currently studying dentistry, my step brother is studying cyber security and i hope to get into law soon (i’m doing sixth form rn). NOT ONCE has my race ever been an issue with me growing up, with friends or teachers or anything. i never thought of race UNTIL i began listening to american media and noticed how ridiculously they are obsessed w race! it’s honestly scary and unnerving. i do agree with phillips, im very proud to be a nigerian born british girl and i’ve never felt discriminated due to my colour. you may think “oh what ab old people” THEY ARE SO NICE. i was in the pharmacy once and an old white man asked am ab my hair and how long it takes (he was so shocked when i said 6 hours!) and an old white lady on the bus asked me about my education and she was so sweet (i waved at her when she left the bus). i love this country so much🇳🇬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Sir Trevor Phillips is a lovely man, I’m just fed up hearing the word ‘Racism’ used to describe a black person. Racism works both ways. I was a nurse back in 1973 in a London hospital, I was sent to a hospital in Tooting. I was assigned to a ward that was run by black staff, at that time I was the only white nurse on the ward. As the sister of the ward was giving us our daily assignments in the office & we were told who was working with who none of the black nurses would work with me, I was 19 yrs old & did not understand racism. As it turned out later I made a friend with one of the black nurses & enjoyed my time there, of course history shows that racism was mainly attributed to black people, but that’s history, can’t we move on. As Sir Trevor said this country is one of the most accepting countries of all people. The actor Morgan Freeman was asked ‘ How can we stop racism’ his reply was ‘ Stop talking about it’

Each generation changes attitudes! I’m 79 and the changes that young people have brought to society’s ideas have been mind blowing! Through Sport, entertainment and education, we have developed a tolerance I couldn’t have foreseen! My mother was not so much, biased or racist, but she would throw out insults depending who offended her, black or white! When I was 11, I babysat for a black lady with a 6 month old baby. She was a nurse, her husband was still in Jamaica and she needed help, so I offered to look after her baby so she could go on a night shift. I told my mum and she went mad, so I took the baby to my home and my mum went out of her way to make the baby comfortable and even had her sleep in her bedroom! When baby Angela was sent to her grandparents in Jamaica, both me and Mum cried!
After that, she changed and became far more tolerant and even befriended Angela’s mother. It’s like ‘Try before you buy’ = get to know people before you judge!
Young people make up their own minds and if, as parents, we love them, we learn to accept their choices. There are so many mixed race marriages these days, it’s stupid to keep old prejudices alive - especially when children come along! They are barely aware now, of the prejudice their grandparents felt and I couldn’t be happier knowing my family are free of any kind of racial or religious bias!
Sorry for the long response, but I hate people constantly trying to rebuild ‘racism’! 🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧

Meghan was not raised in a black culture, nor was she ever financially strapped (despite her comments about eating salad bar as that was all they could afford). Her father was an award winning lighting designer who sent her to expensive schools for her entire education, including one of the most expensive universities in the US. She was raised by her white father with her white step siblings, despite claiming that she was an only child, and her father supported his ex-wife in, as the speaker said, "the most expensive black" area of LA. Doria's family tree shows white and "mulatto" ancestors (the word on the chart, not mine), so Doria is "mixed." Meghan didn't list "Black" on any of her known documents (including her resumes), and she after her various cosmetic surgeries, etc. she does not appear black. If she had not made a big deal of race and skipped the spray tan sessions she as recently adopted, she would never have been identified as "black" by the while population in the US; I can't speak for the UK. There is no reason that she shouldn't identify as "black." It is just odd that this is something she started when she began dating Harry.

It is an American tradition to identify mixed race people who have black parentage as black. Also the UK press were the ones who made a big deal about her being black which is why she started talking and identifying as black then, as it was more or less in her face. She also got death threats etc from racist individuals and groups. As for sending babies back to Jamaica , that was common practice , I worked with a Jamaican women who was expecting her second child , not married to her partner , first baby being raised by her mother in Jamaica , second baby taken to Jamaica to join its sibling , mother claiming single parent benefit and child benefit for years, but children not with her . Many white Brits knew this was going on ! Think this did not help race relations at all. But it’s unlikely anyone would own up to it today . Likely it’s still going on , who knows , I have long since moved out of London . As for families not getting council housing that’s not true , we had two Jamaican families in the street I grew up in , in the late 1950s, big Victorian houses near Tooting Bec , one off larger property was owned by the local council for larger families (none Council estate) records can prove this .
This wind rush story is news to me and many my age , the unions very strong in the 1950s and demanding better pay and conditions , the government action was to ship in cheap Labour to control the unions , as for building back Britain you dam well forget the migrant Irish who did that !

Archie and Lily are now as titled prince and princesses. Case close regarding Meghan’s claims regarding royal racism and this proves her lies in OW interview. In addition Harry stated this in Tom Bradby interview “Right, wouldn’t you describe that as essentially racist?” Tom asked, to which Harry said, “I wouldn’t, not having lived within that family.” Harry said so himself that the royal family is not racist and in OW interview, both Meghan and Harry stated that the conversation was with Harry. Harry should know if that conversation was racially motivated or now. Both Meghan and Harry have been proven to tell porkie pies repeated over the past few years
There was a very serious accusation of racist comment allegedly made by one of the royal family member during OW interview but my problem with her accusation was the vagueness of her accusation without context of the conversation or naming of the specific perpetrator noted in the accusation. For example, a mixed race family often will speculate on the hair colour, skin colour, the eye colour of the baby without any sinister intent. Speculating the skin colour does not mean that it was racist. Did they twist the context to make it sound more sinister than it actually is? The reason that I am bringing this up is because, she has done that twisting the truth, misleading the audience to fit her victim narrative repeatedly through out the interview. She had more than 10 factual inaccuracies through out the interview. Another concern with this point of racism accusation is the fact that Meghan gave the account of having multiple conversations about Archie’s skin colour during the pregnancy but Harry’s account of this is different from Meghan. He stated that it was only one conversation prior to their marriage and he was even vague about it by changing the subject to the fact that his family wanted Meghan to continue to act because there was not enough money for her. So I wonder on accuracy or truthfulness of their accusation. Both of them proved to be misleading with a lot of their later statements and in my view, if you lie once a lot of your claim’s credibility gone out the window.
I also do not believe that the British senior royal family members are racist. Both Charles and William are well travelled and have met countless people from all different walks of life including world leaders, people of different ethnic background. With those experiences came worldly wisdom and knowledge. Prince Phillip famously poured a glass of cordial to the black White House butlers and had a conversation as equals to those butlers. The Queen was a friend of Nelson Mandela and famously had direct line of contact with him whenever one wants to talk to the other. Both the Queen and Prince Phillip had danced with black leaders and hosted events to black Commonwealth leaders over the years until their final years serving the country. They are all busy with their own schedules that include royal engagements, Duchy’s financial dealings, learning the rope for the future monarchical role, decision makings regarding modernising monarchy, looking after their own young family in the case of William. Their plate is full with things to be concerned with already that they have no time to worry about Harry’s and his biracial wife’s baby skin colour for which they cannot change or do anything about. It is just absurd to suggest what Meghan suggested in the OW interview.
Another thing to note is that the royal family allowed Harry to marry a biracial woman who is as light as a Caucasian and yet the royal family is supposed to be concerned with the colour of the baby who will be lighter than his/her mother by logic. I mean what will be the point of the royal family concerning over the baby’s skin colour when they already accepted the biracial mother into the family knowing that she will have a baby to Harry? It just does not make sense.
There was an insinuation that Archie was not given the title prince and HRH due to possibility of his skin colour. That is a total BS. The thing is Archie not being given the royal title is due to 100 year old George V protocol and it is nothing to do with his skin colour. George V protocol states that only up to grandchildren of the Reigning Monarch and in direct line to the throne thereafter is allowed to have HRH and prince title. Archie as a great grandchild is not eligible for the title. Anyone can understand that and Meghan as a somewhat smart person should understand that very easily. She twisting things is very clear with this.
There was also insinuation that Archie was not given protection due to his skin colour. Again, Meghan twisting things to suit her own agenda. Andrew’s 2 daughters do not get royal protection, so as Princess Anne’s and Prince Edward’s children. It is not surprising that Harry’s children will not get royal protection either as he is not direct line to the throne. Yes it is harsh but it is the monarchical system and Harry should be aware of that since he was born into the system. Again nothing to do with Archie’s skin colour.
Meghan stated that she only wanted Archie to get the title prince so that he can have security. Again, Eugenie and Beatrice are titled princesses and HRH and yet they are not eligible for royal security protection. Princess Anne and Prince Edward(Count of Wessex) have prince and princess titles and HRH and yet they only have the royal security while doing royal duties/public engagement and not 24/7 security. The decision of who get the security in the royal family is not made by the royal family themselves but from RAVEC for the Metropolitan Police department. This discussion about Archie not getting the security linked to his skin colour should not have been made from the start as that decision is nothing to do with the royal family. This security was provided courtesy of the UK tax-payers and after they chose to step back from positions of working for the people of the UK as working royals, they are not entitled to the security.
There was also insinuation that Royal family was racist. If that is the case then, I don’t understand why would Prince Charles spent $3million out of his own pocket to pay for their extravagant royal wedding with the blessing of the Queen and walked Meghan down the aisle. It would have been easier to disagree to the wedding from the start. They were given royal titles as a wedding gifts. No privileges were spared to them. She was the first fiancee along with her mum Doria to spend Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family and the first royal woman to go on royal train with the Queen for royal engagement mere weeks after her wedding. Even Kate, future Queen Consort, was not given these privileges. Some very ungrateful and disgraceful 2 some.

Can we stop talking about race for ones. I am black & I have never experienced any racism in the UK. I am tired of those who use the r word loosely and the constant chat about race.
P.s Migration control has nothing to do with race either 🤦

@@leslie-annmills-gomez8763 None of my family, friends, people I went to school with, college, University or I work with ever addressed having racism problems. So who are they interviewing to speak for the rest of us? I am Somali & I get more discriminated by other Somali about my tribe in the UK & the only time I was ever bullied about being Somali was by Jamaicans in Schools in the 90s. Prejudism is a human problem that we all need to work on but I refuse to ever accept white brits are racist because that's 100% lies.

Maybe if you actually had a racist experience from them you wouldn’t be licking their ass, there’s been plenty of incidents where they have been racist to blacks. Wake up

In 1952 I lived in a council house and our neighbours were from Pakistan. Their 3 year old daughter was my best friend until we lost touch when we left school.
