1.6HDi Injector Leak Test - Engine Misfire

A common fault on the 1.6HDi/1.6TDCi engine. Poor idle, running roughly around 1100RPMs. In most cases, there is a faulty injector. An injector leak test is the simplest thing, you can do at home without an expensive injector bench test.

Now I don't understand... In other video the guy said that injector that puts out more diesel in the tubes is the one with the problem, and here you say exactly the opposite. Which one is it? 🤔😊

It depends. You need to compare it to other injectors. In this case, the injector shows low overflow, puts too much fuel into the cylinder causing a typical diesel knock sound.
