The BMW V10 was straight savage. Such a amazing sounding engine.
And it was the most powerful i believe
@@pit19931 the most powerful is HONDA ....950 bhp....but it very unreliable engine.....
@@pit19931 just some seasons most powerful
I miss the fw26 from 2004
@@azreenklose7976 reliability is key in a season otherwise you have no power of your engine fails mid season
13:48 that Honda engine 😍❤❤🇯🇵
Jordan were using Honda engines too !
Ahh! The good ole days of F1, proper V10 sounds and glitchy onboard cameras.
i miss the good old days. F1 now sucks so much
King Louie how does f1 suck today?
The cars from 1998 to 2016 were butt ugly.
But not as ugly as they are now.
johnny fartpants i think they look better than the rest in 2019
But slow cars
the original 80's turbo era and the 2000's V10 era were the best F1 racing ever.
true.
You can feel the adrenaline when you listen to this sweet V10 music!
Ah them v10 engines they’re fantastic
BMW, Ferrari, and Honda probably had the best sounding engines here
How can you forgot the McLaren unique cat-like screaming engine....
just quality of mic in camera)
Renault??
And sauber
Loved that sound. I’m lucky enough to have attended The USGP at Indy, I heard those beautiful engines scream. I saw Michael win.
In 2002 it was Barrichello who won, which year did you attend?
@@RyoooPT i think 2000, 2003 or 2004
@@RyoooPTtbh it wasn’t very clear who won till they called it
God bless these sounds!
Imagine driving in one of those :O
Many of us wish we had the chance lol
Imagine going trough a wall w/ 320km/h
@@mikehawk5305 that's what I call a happy end, I'd rather die like that than dying of old age spending my last years unable to do shit
@@jraybay i dont wish . Its difficult
rip my neck
That Renault engine sound 😍 simply music to my ears
What do u prefer the v8 or v10 or v12
exactly renault and bmw are my favorite. V10
Renault BMW and Ferrari were my favorites
These cars sounded WAY BETTER than 2021 F1 cars...
@@rallyivan1234 you're wrong, Arrows will always be remembered, nobody will forget those liveries, a well respected team who had over 20 years in F1, one of the greatest midfield team.
19,000 rpm... It's amazing to think that these superb engines could survive two whole hours of such torture.
Mclaren's engine sounds from the early 2000/late 90's were my all time favourite.
This video makes me miss single car/single lap qualifying F1 had from '03-'05. I loved being able to watch a Minardi or Jordan for a lap and then compare it to a Ferrari or Mclaren right after. It really gave you a sense of how they're making up the time.
Listening with morning coffee. Gonna be a good day
The sound gives me goose bumps... God I love V10's
The original 130r - probably the most daunting corner in F1 at the time.
The only driver that could take the original 130r flat out was Schumacher. Only just, in the perfect conditions.
@@weallfollowmanutd alonso did it too
@@rascandy the original 130r existed until 2002, before they made changes. Alonso wasn't even on the grid, so stop making that up lol. Unless you're telling me that Alonso took that corner flat out in a Minardi in 2001? Haha
@@weallfollowmanutd oh i didnt know that but at one point alonso took it flat
@@rascandy Almost Everyone took it flat from 2003, as the inside of the corner was moved outwards, so it was an easier corner. In fact I'm sure Alonso and almost every car on the grid took it absolutely flat.
I've always loved Honda V10 sound.
13:48 Honda sound like a elephant 😍
sound beasty, especially just after a turn, it's crazy
Still sounds better then the table fans they call F1 cars of today
Best Car ever,Best era ever, best engine ever, best sound ever, and this video are the best ever ,i love v10 like sound of beautiful melody
That Renault and Jorden sounds pretty good.
Jordan had same engine as the Honda
7:30 RIP that fly.
My favourites were always the sweet and crisp Hondas and the raw and brutal BMWs. The cozzy in the Jags was great too.
what an awesome sound!! beast
Buen material!
BRUTAL SAVAGE NOISE BURNS ME UP
I really miss that sound :(
OMG I WANT TO CRY WHEN THIS V10 SCREAMS 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
F1 R.I.P.
nope
i miss v10 era
My favorite music.
That sound very nice
juan pablo M. grande.
Particularity of that f1 of the 2002 is the gearbox. Full automatic shift, that the reason of the very quick shift up and down. Impossible for a pilot to do the same.
The next year in 2003 the manual shifting come back.
did not notice haha
it was banned in 2004
It make me relax
Great video!😍
It is crazy watching them handle the corners so easily compared to nowadays cars that can fall off the corner with no outside interference really easy. They just stick to the road all the time under power with the broad rpm range.
This was the F1.
Wow,u can see how unstable the Saubers,Minardis and Jordans were,no wonder it was almost impossible for their drivers to get some points back in those days
Wooow. What a song
The back marker cars of the early 2000s always looked very unstable.
OJ especially the Minardis
@@eslSlightz They had no power steering
My childhood . . I miss the OLD Casio Triangle (Suzuka)
Every of F1 cars should have Honda RA002E 3.0 V10 engine, too entertaining sound.
If a constructor is gone and it is at the same time like a factory, where are their cars?
I'm thinking there: Arrows, Toyota, BAR, Jaguar, Minardi, Sauber
Bring back V10s
From my point, the car can be 4 seconds slower than today, but the drivers would have to do a lot more work on the steering wheel, like here, simply spectacular
The Renault is incredibly nicely screaming🫠 and the Minardi PS02 already sounds slow bruh. My personal fav is the Arrows A23 with the Cosworth CR-4 engine, what a beautiful car with beautiful sound.
😊pure sound the f1
Ahh nice sound 😍😍
When an engine only last for a few hours, thats formula one.
Saubers engine just sounds lazy compared to others, it just sounds slower
That's because they used rebadged Ferrari engines from the previous year, for budget reasons. So not only the engines were a little obsolete, they were also de-tuned to last longer.
i'm not sure if i'm restating some of what you said here, but sauber did this for reliability, right?
@@RandomDuude i don't think they were detuned 🤔
@@RandomDuude probably but those saubers were darn quick at straight line based tracks. Particularly at Monza where their straight line speed was up there with the ferrari.
Sauber and Arrows
CHILDHODDDDDDDDD
It’s the era that make you say “That’s a f@*kng F1 car”
Miss old V10 era
Isso sim dava gosto de ver ..
Such wow
Best F1 time ever 😍👉😬🔨💪🤙
9:05 Eddie sleeping at the wheel, when his engine hammering into the cut - off
Real Formula 1
The screaming really starts only above 14 K rpm.
Why they don't use this anymore?
BAR Honda by far the best sounding engine … check the screaming at 14:06
Mesin renault V10 111 derajatnya mantap
Wow, that Jaguar hit max RPM, nice to hear
What point?
Around 9:03
That year all the cars haved an 100% automatic transmission with a terrify gear change. Most intelligent than a pilot.
Look at the begin of the video at 00:07 with Montoya, impossible for a human change the gears like this!
Before Hermann Tilke flooded F1with his insipid ''Racetracks''. Admittedly the A1/Red Bull Ring was the first of his tracks, and it is insipid, but at least the scenery was nice there. The other Tilke track, Sepang was great.
Aahhhhh! It's so amazing song! 😊
The camera's mic made the engines sound broken
I love the sound of angry engineering. 😁
7:57 ok
As usual.
Renault 😍
This is my “to sleep song”.
Monaco is crazy holy s....
Minardi best sound
Guys, 130R is one hell of a corner.
No halo nonsense, awesome car designs, V10 roar... man, how much more f1 can lose until it simply disappear?
Today formula 1 is shit.
Liberty Media are screwing it over as much as Bernie did.
@@Beeswax106 stop watching F1
No power steering on that Minardi.
Is this Magny Cours?
09:03 Irvine limit RPM
i used to think that recent f1 driver is much more better then old days driver, but not anymore. seeing all this pov from old f1, i think yea, maybe schumacher truly is goat, compare with hamilton, verstappen, leclerc, vettel and so on. the old f1 car may not be fast in corner but they are really fast in straight, and that what make it difficult, that monster speed, when you need to brake before entering corner, and make an adjustment through the mid corner a little slip up, the other f1 car would just smoke you, since the old engine so monster to accelerate. when the v6 driver make a mistake but during the acceleration, the behind car wont get loss so much. the v10 single mistake, and bye2 catching up. and of course the old f1 have smaller wheelbase, making overtaking more easier, so its much of a fight compare today f1 where the behind driver just have to wait the front to make mistake. old f1 get slipstream and the front driver made wrong corner trajectory and bye2 mate, you just got overtake.
i think this is the best sound 1:18
ok
bring fucking v10s back
The splat during Schumacher's lap at Silverstone cracked me up in the middle of the magnificence.
18000 RPM
what "speed" sounds like
BMW 😛❤
ASMR on his best
The amazing thing to me about watching this, is watching the rev counter. From the minardi right the way to the williams, all the engines can rev to 18,000. so all the cars are as powerful as each other.
But the aero package defines how quick the car is over the course of the lap.
