Steam locomotives built by W.G Bagnall of Stafford,1875-1962, featured at the first event of the year at Foxfield Railway, Caverswall Road, Blythe Bridge, south east of Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, England. Weather fine , dry, cool to start with, improving to 8c, sun by afternoon. Arriving at around 8.00am, Florence No2 is being prepared along with visitors, Bagnall 0-4-0ST Saddle Tank Alfred, built 1953 and Judy, built 1937, Port of Par, Twins. Used at Par Harbour, Cornwall, from Bodmin and Wenford Railway.The unusual design of these engines was to cope with the tight curves and very low bridge under the Cornish Main Line. Steam Locomotives featured, Bagnall 0-6-0 Saddle Tank, built,1954, 'Florence No2'. Bagnall 0-4-0 Saddle Tank, 2842. Diesel Locos, Bagnall 0-6-0 DM, built 1959, Works No. 3150,'Wolstanton No3'. Bagnall 0-4-0DH built 1962, Works No.3120, 'Myfanwy'. Bagnall 0-4-0DH built 1961, Works No.3207 Leys.
