Thankyou for your reply. It is a great video and 9 billion euros still seems a bargain for an underwater project of this magnitude.
I haven't heard of a new Major traffic connection, making life much easier and faster, that won't be used? When we Danes built the new bridge over Storebælt, it was utterly opposed by a large group of our population (Mostly those with no direct need at all for the ferries or the new bridge), but today no one is against being able to cross the belt in 20 minutes - at all times, instead of optimally using 1½ hour during day hours, for the crossing (Also arrival, waiting and operation time filling and driving off the ferries. And having to make exact Time Reservations for the arrival time during high seasons, to be able to cross within a reasonable time of hours, only hoping not to be hit by delays during the drive to the ferry!)! During nights and times with low traffic it was much worse and even more time consuming! I do know as an often traveler in cars crossing The Belt!
thanks for your comment man
Woo really impressive
Thank you. Giving our best to entertain.
If you will 'inform', that takes precedence over 'entertain'! Best of Luck!!
@@jamesmcdonnell5617 hey James thank you for your comment. Let us know, what you exactly mean by that, so we can improve our work and your experience with our videos.
This was smart to build a tunnel, tunnels last longer than bridges...and less maintainence. as with the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, It was built cheaply and a few flaws. One of the flaws was the bridge structure, was on 2 pylons, above where the roadway should have been. If the Feds here in the states don't put a tunnel where the bridge was, thy would be out of their minds. Notice in nNorfolk and surrounding areas, there are no fixed bridges across any of the waterays.
I agree. Thanks for your comment
Is there a toll to pay once built.
We have covered that information in the video more specifically. Yes, that is how the investment will be returned.
